I'm more interested in seeing how Peyton handles the Chiefs defense.

They are leading the league in sacks by a wide margin. Manning is going to be in trouble

KC's defense is no joke, and Indy just gave everyone else the blueprint on how to handle Peyton. It should look familiar to us 'hawk fans.

Just can't decide given the baseline doesn't make sense. Thei schedule is ridiculous. Just see Denver v:Indianapolis.

Even though we're built to beat San Francisco, Kansas City is built to beat Denver. That defense is Peyton's retirement invitation. Ridiculous pass rush, solid man to man secondary, rush first...sound familiar?

I'm not convinced about KC yet. yest i think they're a good team and yes their defense has been playing lights out. let's see how they do against a upper echlon team with a top 5 D... then i'll be convinced..

I think Denver kills them... JMO

Feels like San Fran a couple years ago. Stacked roster, just needed a coach and Alex Smith.

Berry is very good.
The OLB's are insanely good. In fact, the entire DL is great.

The offense is less than the sum of the parts, and the straw that fails to stir the drink is the QB. Smith is BORING, and his lack of testes makes that offense easy to defend.

I think Michael Smith of ESPN's "Numbers don't lie" put it well... Kansas City is this year's best story, not the best team.

Smith for all of his faults is still the last QB to go up to the vaunted Century Link and pull out a W. That's a ton of games so far since December 2011.

4th down conversion to Vernon Davis and a 40 yard bomb to Crabtree on 3rd down to seal the win.

It's easy to say Smith relies on defense and special teams, but so long as the game is close he will find a way to keep the team in the hunt.

There are probably 15-16 QBs that could do better than him @ Jacksonville, but how many QBs in the league could have KC at 7-0?

My guess is under 10.

And while the KC schedule is easier than that of SF the last two years, I'd say his offense isn't quite as good, or perhaps he is not as in sync with them as he was with his teammates on the 49ers.

We shall see what happens.

True, he won in Seattle. I didn't say he was terrible, I said he lacks balls and is boring.

Two years ago Niner fans were so hoping that his 17 td 5 int were a sign they were on the cusp of greatness. You know who Alex Smith makes great? Field goal kickers.

Agree, I liked Alex but he will never be elite. I think what KC has done is great, but the next 6 or so games will decide their fate.

It's Kansas City. It'll be 2003 all over again.

Plus, y'know, Alex Smith and Andy Reid. I just can't take that combo seriously.

The teams they've beaten have a total of 15 wins. Color me unimpressed.

To be fair the seahawks version of that stat is 17 wins and thats if you count carolina's win last night.
