That 1 they gave up for Smith isn't as frequently ridiculed these days. REALLY like what that FO has done. They stood strong and weathered the Bowe stuff, dealt with the PR that came with the murder-suicide of a popular player, purged their staff, then grabbed Andy, the perfect coach to erase the trauma experienced by Alex Smith.

I think the AFC is a legit 2 horse race.
