Who QBs this team next season?

Eason, barring an injury. Most have him as a one-and-done in '19 and then a real log jam in 2020 with the possibility of a transfer.

Lots can happen between now and then though, so we shall see.

CP has always been cagey about releasing Salvon's 40-times, listing them as equal to Gaskin's last year, but anyone who knows anything about Husky football always knew that he is actually quite a bit faster than Gaskin. He's a different kind of runner though and we're all hoping that this is a break-out year for him.

I don't care who it is as long as they earn it. At this point it should be an open competition.

I’ve heard that Haener by far has been the best qb so far. Eason having accuracy issues.

You've heard? Curious how an Oregon fan seems to know more about UDub football than Huskies do.

Should we put this in that unending list of things you have "heard' that turned out to be completely untrue?

Eason is the most experienced, best passing QB on the roster and that is indisputable.

Not only was he a five-star recruit but he was the #1 recruit in the nation in 2016.

"He was ranked as the best pro-style quarterback and best player overall in the 2016 class.[5][6]"

Yes, this all world qb who has completed 55% of his college passes before getting beat out. Who’s running with the one ‘s? It’s not Eason. (It’s rightvthere in the link you provided)

Eason was just playing with the 2's for that one practice only, they do that to give everyone a fair opportunity, and, 55% was as a true freshman. "Junior Jacob Eason — who started with the second team and later worked in with the 1s"
https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/uw- ... -football/

Read the article, "Haener has been mostly inconsistent in the four practices, throwing two pick-six'es." Haener is a pick-six artist.

BTW, your great Justin Herbert only completed 59% of his passes after starting for three years.

I can't wait for the day when you actually post something that is true.

Eason is going to be the starter. Trust me. This is Fender talking now.

Really regret asking

It's just the same old thing Si, yes, Haener had one good practice but NOBODY (and I have been to practices, talk to lots of people) and I mean NOBODY would say that Haener has been the best QB "by far" in spring practice.

You can opine or critique all you want about someone else's team, but it should at least have some semblance of truth attached to it.

Read Brock huards tweet in the post above yours. He said exactly what I said.

I think today was the first day Haener didn't get the first reps with the 1's. Who knows if that is a permanent change or how long it will last, but Eason is the starter. It is probably just Haener now to send a message to Eason.
