No, we have spent a shit ton of money and draft capital on the O-line. We just haven't been good at it.
So if you are going to coach a team, and you are an OL guru, don’t you wonder if it team has had a track record of bringing in that “talent” and “spent all that money” has bad talent evaluation. If I’m the new coach, am I going to get stuck with sloppy second scabs or is there going to be a change in the type of talent that is brought in. JS needs to fix the interior OL.

More pay (maybe not OC pay but a bump), no need to move across the country and uproot his family, stay with a winning franchise, no need to rebuild an entire Oline from scratch, chance to increase his stock more if the Oline play next year in DET stays the same or gets better, job security and staying with a staff and team you've already built great rapport with.

I get it. I wanted him to come over too, but I get it. I wouldn't say he's a loser for it.
If that was his mindset going in he should not have interviewed then…seems like a waste of our time if he were using us as leverage

JS has always liked Josh Allen and how he was coached up but still shown patience in Buffalo. It wouldn't be surprising at all if there's a target on the Bills.

Or he didn't like Seattle's offer, or as I stated before a lot of the talk was to pair him with someone to run the offense with him almost like you're splitting OC duties. Perhaps he felt that notion was not giving him enough credit to run things or that he had to be babysat. Regardless he didn't take the job and it is what it is.

Maybe it's time to consider that this isn't that coveted of a job.

Fraley knows he has job security with Campbell. Here, he'd be moving across the country to take a chance on himself in a new position, where the last guy to hold that position was fired after just one season. Maybe it's too risky for him, especially with no long-term solution in place at QB.

It's still a job with considerable responsibility in the nation's premiere sports league. We won't get nobody, but I think there's a good chance we may have to take a gamble like we did with Grubb.
Yep.

And the Lions have a great OL, (just no secondary to speak of besides Branch). If you focus on O, the pieces are there for you.
Here? Not so much.

Our OL looks worse than the Lion secondary, as a competent OC it would be clear how many pieces we are missing.

Failure isn't guaranteed but it's likely. A good OC would notice that.

This nonsense in this thread about the OL problems “being debunked” is the most ridiculous thing I’ve read

Repeating it over and over in multiple threads doesn’t make it any more true either

This is just people justifying their hatred of our last few OC’s and looking to put the blame squarely there instead. Imagine using Kliff frickin Kingsbury (as some sort of genius😂😂😂😂) as your proof.

Just absolute nonsense. Our oline is terrible. End. Of. Story.

But not OC which tells me he's not ready yet...
Could be that or it could be he has a comfort level with Campbell and feels he's progressing towards OC. He did get 2 interviews.
