The Wild Bunch, the scene was after a night of drinking and whoring, the leader (William Holden) said: "Let's go". with that, three retirees marched into a courtyard full of bandits and guns.
The end of No Country for Old Men where Tommy Lee Jones is talking about the dream he had about his father, which is word for word from the final paragraph in the book......and damn does Jones nail it. "I knew when I got there........he'd be there."
With the clock ticking in the background. Just everything beautiful about cinema.
The other one is from Shawshank when Red gets out of prison and finds the box Andy left for him. Another IMO perfect scene. It's really the entirety of the movie culminating in a two minute scene. Hope. That's it. That's all that matters. The scene is palpable with the humidity and birds chirping in the background. So well shot.
