Driedger torn ACL

I guess he tore it in the world cup and has had surgery already -- out 7-10 months. Team will need to add a 2nd goalie this off-season. Grubauer was hot and cold and the position could use an upgrade. Will be interesting to watch.

Major bummer. I think Grubauer has a higher ceiling but Driedger seemed more consistently good.

Agree. I hate to see either of them get hurt, but Grub was painful to watch at times, as he’d make an incredible save and then let an easy goal get by a minute later.

Hoping they have a better plan for goalie next season, but both those guys have multiple year expensive albatross contracts.
