Panthers - rookie QBs make me nervous when they shouldn't... better see some pressure packages and not the soft shell stuff giving up easy completions.

Giants - came back from being down 20 points to win yesterday. Shows that any team could be dangerous.

Bengals - big test here to see where this team is really at

Browns - first game in retro unis? We got this.

From a broadstrokes perspective, I expect a rocky road to the bye.

I still don’t think this team has an identity on either side of the ball. The Offense has a lot of tricks up it’s sleeve, but not sure if we’re an 11p or 12p team. Waldron feels like he’s dabbling with a lot of different things but we can’t line up and just win from a single formation.

I feel similarly with the defense. Beyond just needing to gel, it feels like Hurtt is trying several different things while we figure out what we’re good at and what our fastball is going to be.

I also think the culture is still coming together (as evidenced by the Rams collapse) so interested to see how we sustain from this high.

I hate comparisons to previous Seattle teams, but this reminds me of 2011. That year the team was still figuring out it’s offensive and defensive identities. By midyear, the run game was clicking and the defense was beginning to solidify into the cover-3 focused system we all remember.

My hope has always been the O can steal games until the bye and then we’ll see identity form after.

I think we will win 5 of the next 7 games which will put us at 6-3. We will then split our last 8 games at 4-4 which makes our final record 10-7. If they catch fire and avoid injuries I could see us as12-5 world beaters.

Watched that happen on RedZone - I was shocked with the comeback as they looked like garbage in the first half -

I'm not writing off the Giants or looking past them at all

I want to see how the Panthers respond against the Saints. The Saints are projected to be the top or competing with Atlanta for the NFCS.

The Panthers are hard to pin point because they are starting a rookie QB. But also they have Evero as their new DC.

Let's see how they do against the Panthers before deciding they are actually good.

One game at a time.
I just think when Jamal comes back it's going to open up that pass rush... also the first two games were against QBs who typically get the ball out very quickly and as our young corners get more playing time that coverage is going to tighten up and give that pass rush more time to get home. I think we saw vs Detroit some of what could happen when the pass rush gets home. When everything starts working together they are going to be fine it's just a matter of getting the starters on the field at the same time and getting guys like spoon some experience.

Just my take

32-of-41, 328 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs

That was Geno's day at the office in Detroit.

If he puts up #'s in that general range, we will be in decent shape come week 8
