I believe that the organization can start cutting Adams at the end of next season (2023).

2024 Dead Cap: $14,220,0002024 Cap Savings: $9,390,000

The seahawks already have 2 players that can do what Adams is only doing.

Ryan Neal and Tariq.

Huh?

Neal is barely low end starter quality. And i don’t understand the Woolen angle as it pertains to Adams

Only thing Adams does is rushing the passer.

We already have Neal.

And Woolen is much better chasing the QB than both of them.

It isn't about cap space or dead money. All of the guaranteed money in Adams contract has been paid. It's now a question of whether he'll be worth $11M in 2023, either to the Seahawks or another team. The 1st decision about that arrives 5 days after Super Bowl LVII when, (per Spotrac), $2.56M of 2023 salary fully guarantees. Deciding that he won't be worth $11M at that point seems unlikely. The remainder of 2023 salary won't guarantee until Week 1 of the 2023 season. The 2024 salary decision won't come until August 2024. No need to rush into a decision.
