Legit in a battle for worst takes in dot net history. And that's saying something.

Clearly in the ridiculous take hall of fame.
It used to be fun, laughable, and just plain entertaining.

Now, it's just sad and embarrassing.

Mac reminds me of Dan Campbell in that he was propped up by an elite GM and coordinators. Johnson is clearly the smarter of the two, and that will be on display with Kubiak gone.
Macdonald took a defense that was 25th in 2023 to 11th in 2024, then to 1st in 2025. I don't deny the elite GM part.....but no one thinks Aden Durde was the coaching mastermind behind the defensive improvement. And one could argue that Kubiak's "genius" offense was in large part due to replacing Geno Smith (who had led the 17th and 18th ranked offenses under two different coordinators) with Sam Darnold - who had gone 14-3 with the Vikings while running a similar offensive scheme.

I won't compare offensive and defensive rankings too much; Johnson just finished his first year and Macdonald his second, so 2025 isn't a legit straight across comparison. But I think your take on this is just plain wrong.

Clearly smarter? Same coach who passes up on taking points ALL THE TIME. Instead of playing add on, he just goes for it ALL THE TIME. Again, laughable to think he's smarter than Mike.

Then again, which one of these coaches just won a SB?

Just curious what your metrics are to judge who's smarter. Johnson's smart offense scored 6 points on Macdonld's defense in 2023

Because he's not a Seahawks fan. And he seems to hate everything Seahawk? I'm legit worried about the guy at this point.

I do think that it's not inconceivable that the Bears could have a better season than us. Rat is right, they are a defending division champ, have a good young coach (but claiming that he's better than Mac is laughable) led by a promising quarterback but as with the head coach, saying he he's better than Darnold is sketchy at best. Smells a lot like a troll post.

Too bad for Coby Bryant, but it looks like he might have dodged a bullet.

Question is that if he's not a Seahawks fan, then what team is he a fan of?

Is he a Niners fan masquerading for a long time as a Hawks fan or something?

Nothing would surprise me at this point.

He’s just the Eeyore of Hawks fans

Likely a Super Bowl win is more a sigh of relief, than a celebration.

Or he just enjoys jerking everyone’s chain.

Unfortunate to miss the first month or so, but very fortunate it wasn't much worse. Good chance the Bears are better than us this year. I'm sure he wants to be a part of that.
This is so not true. Watching them in the playoffs against the Packers, they were lucky to win the game. Kinda like the Lions blowing that playoff game against the niners. Stuff happens. Maybe he got his stuff together, but I would pin that playoff loss to the niners on him.

idk if Williams is better than Darnold. It still comes down to play calling/system fit and coaches playing to their players strengths.

Why is Johnson smarter than Mac? Kubiak has no bearing on the two as they game call different sides of the ball.

I'm not accusing him of hating the Hawks as he does speak possessively about them as if he's a part of the team. His posts are borderline trolls.

It's one thing to have an opinion that doesn't jive with the consensus, but two back-to-back ie Johnson a better coach than Macdonald, Willams a better QB than Darnold, opinions that aren't supported by any commonly used metrics. That's getting close to an inflammatory comment designed to draw harsh reactions vs. a legitimate opinion.

They were literally the 2 seed. Not sure why it's incomprehensible that they could be better this year.
Fair point, but realistically they're unlikely to improve their record. The Bears won most of their close games in 2025, which isn't sustainable long-term, and they also had a 4th place schedule. Normally contenders have a nets points differential of 70+. The Bears were +26. The Seahawks were +192.

Best wishes to Bryant on his recovery.
