Man, I really hate starting off my morning with negativity but I just don't see too many victories left for this 2025 squad, and I certainly don't see one occurring this Sunday against the 49ers. Even though the 49ers aren't the powerhouse they've been in recent years, they are still loaded and like the Rams, have the cheat codes for beating the Seahawks.

I'm going to relax and just hope for signs of improvement the rest of the way. This is an evaluation year. Let the real rebuild begin for Mike in 2025.

Aros' Fearless Prediction: Seahawks 23 - 49ers 27

Aros' Fearless Record: 7-2

I've seen this song and dance before with the Niners not looking quite right, then they suddenly go on a roll and the next thing you know they are making a deep playoff run. This will, unfortunately, be a "get right" game for the Niners. Geno cannot throw even 1 pick (I don't care who's fault it is) if we are to have shot. That won't happen.

Niners 31
Hawks 21

The 49ers are understandably 6.5-point favorites for this game.

Reasons for optimism? In the last 49ers game, we were only trailing 23-17 after the third quarter despite a horrid defensive effort. We were in the midst of the 3-game defensive meltdown where we gave up 42 points to the Lions, 29 to the Giants and 36 to the 49ers. We gave up 483 yards to the 49ers, including 228 rushing yards without CMC. But we played without Murphy and before we acquired Robertson-Harris and Ernest Jones.

If Abe Lucas plays and is healthy, I think the offense can get untracked, especially if DK is back. Also, Smith-Njigba has finally been unlocked. If the defense plays better with Ernest Jones fully incorporated and Byron Murphy healthy, it gives us a better chance.

The 49ers have been shooting themselves in the foot all season long. They'll be up for this game, but after beating the Seahawks in 6 consecutive games, the 49ers will be overconfident. We're coming off a bye week, so presumably we're well-rested and healthier.

Seahawks 24, 49ers 17.

Odds are it's going to be a very tough game for us to watch... especially w/o alcohol. LOL

Tip: Put together a plan for fantastic game-day food and accept that our team isn't likely to stay up with the Whiners' scoring pace. Look for the positives and celebrate the small successes. And when the game is over, tell yourself that we'll do better next year... and the year after that... and the year after that.

We are going to roll the Niners.

The defensive effort against the Rams was outstanding and were it not for self inflicted wounds, we walk out of that game with a 2 score victory.

As i see it, we beat ourselves against the Rams, the Giants the Bills, and arguably against the 9ers as wellx given we had played poorly and still had the ball with a chance to go ahead late in the game.

The coaches know it. The players know it. We are getting key guys back and gave had 2 weeks to 'get right'.

2nd half of the season is going to be fun.

Hawks by 9.

49ers - 31
Hawks - 17

I don't see the Hawks winning at all. I think it'll be close for about 2 quarters and the 9ers will blow it wide open. With any given Sunday, I wouldn't be surprised if the Hawks go down and blow them completely out. I don't see that happening just yet. Patience Hawk fans, we'll own this division within the next 2 years. Let the other 3 teams duke it out for now, but when we get our guys and start putting it all together, we'll step on their necks and take the division by force.

I've got to think more about this, but it ain't going to be a Hawks win. That last game was a horrible loss, the kind that sticks in your craw, and the 49ers are playing for the division title now against the upstart Cards. They've got McCaffrey back, too.

I haven’t picked against my team all year and am not starting now.

Geno needs to play better and not wig out like he’s done the last few games causing 14 point swings where we don’t get 7 and they do, INTs, and fumbles.

The team kept it close until late last time but gave it up at the end. I see the D getting stronger game on game, and the O has shot the team in the foot a lot recently.

This game will be a Seahawks W and they have historically, until recently, played well in Santa Clara.

Seahawks 31- 9ers 20
