We are all feeling the dopamine release of beating the 49ers and then an emphatic defensive performance against the prolific Cardinals at home. A few demons were slayed the past two weeks.

The offense is still looking to find its identity and consistency. The defense is starting to show signs of what we thought we would see under Mike’s leadership and defensive prowess.

The Jets are a real dumpster fire. Please Seahawks don’t let this be one of those embarrassing games you have no business losing (aka Giants at home).

I suspect that shouldn’t be the case.

Aros’ Fearless Prediction: Seahawks 24 - Jets 16

Aros’ Fearless Record: 8-3
Feels like a straight up trap game to me :)

I'd go along with your score. Odds are Hawks -2 -

This game gives me a bit of anxiety. The seahawks are playing better on defense yes and coming off 2 huge wins over division opponents, I just hope the players & coaching staff stay focused and don't over look a 3-8 team while looking forward to the Cards next week this is a classic trap game sinario.... With that said:

Hawks - 17, Jets - 10

Giants was a trap game and this one bugs me the same way. But, we're due for a dominant win and if we're going to get one this seems like our chance. Jets have gone from SB aspirations to swirling in the toilet bowl. We just have to press that flush handle down and not let up.
Sometimes you have to jiggle the handle

This game comes down to which secondary plays better. If Seattle starts slow and trails early it could get frustrating quickly. I expect both QBs to throw a pick.

Hoping the Hawks run for 140+ this game.

Hawks - 24
Jets - 16

One thing I question is why Erin is still playing. His team is likely eliminated so why is he still playing?

Erin doesn’t fit with Jets, so better draft position. Jets need to find a way to loose this week.

Nobody has talked about Geno returning to NY, I would venture to say he has some hard feelings towards that organization and probably their fans as well. He might come out absolutely on fire. I would love to see it. have his first 4 TD game throw for 400 yards and dominate this hapless team.

I dont know about this one. On the one hand, i can see us handing it to them. On the other, i think back to week 3 when they best the Patriots. NE couldnt block or run and the Jets just pummeled them. Granted it was Jacoby Brissett and the Pats, but their pass rush concerns me.

That and it sounds like Wilson is ready to have another good game.

Hoping its not a let-down game. Would be great to play so well we help usher AR into retirement.

Hawks 21 Jets 19

Man, im revising my prediction. I just dont have a good feeling about our offense going up against their secondary.

Theyve played poorly because the organzitiom is a mess. But they have enough talent in the right spots to limit an already limited offense.

Might be a tough day for Geno, but hoping he is fired up.

If the running game doesnt get going, wr lose:

21 to 19

On a last second FG.

Bro come on now. You can't feel the shift in this team? Were healthy, the D looks to have turned the corner, and the Offense is showing signs of a breakthrough. Hawks 28 Hapless Jets 17. That drive at the end of the Tards game where we ate up 8 mins on the clock? We're winning this game.

The D looks great.

If you look at the metrics, the O is getting worse every week.

Scoring

Explosive plays...

Last week, we did no better than Arizona on 3rd down

5 sacks

I want to believe...

Just need to see a running game.

nah were just playing better defenses. We were 28th in rushing last season, were 28th now. The offseason will see some serious attention paid to the O line. Like a 1st round pick and some trades.

I think the D holds Erin and the Jets to 3 scores--two of them FGs. The Hawks offense isn't great, but gets 3 scores also, 2 of them TDs. The game-changer is that the D gets a TD or sets up a TD with a turnover. Hawks win the turnover battle by 1. Tight game for 3 quarters that the Hawks break open in the 4th, either with a big play from Geno or off a Jets turnover. (I would love to say a K9 long TD run, like against Chargers a couple years ago, but don't see it happening here.)

Alright, checking in with the Madden prediction (with some caveats added below):

Geno and the offense have their best day in weeks, 2 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs. But Rodgers and the Jets offense (the worst unit in this game) somehow managed to keep up. Seahawks win on a FG as time expires.

Seahawks: 31
Jets: 28

Notes: Madden didn't do their normal Week 13 update this week (Thanksgiving, I'm guessing?) so I wasn't actually able to use the correct gametime rosters. Additionally, EA didn't get the memo Rodgers was washed and still treat him like he's 2021 Rodgers. I personally have a very hard time predicting Rodgers going off like that on our new look defense.

Jets 23 Seahawks 16. The last 2 weeks feel like we have turned the corner so I am anticipating being disappointed later.

Seahawks finally let loose.

Geno goes for 300 yards, 3 TDs. Walker and Charbonnet both get scores. Defense puts on a damn good show with a couple of TOs. It's a route and a route early on.

Seahawks 35 - Jets 6

Seahawks win comfortably. A little nervous because the Jets have a good defense but Hall not being 100% severely limits their offense in this one.

I thought I already did a prediction so if I did ignore that one lol

Seahawks 21
Jets 13
