He only comes around when they're losing. It's hilarious. When they were playing good ball, no place to be seen.

I liked trader Z more than dipstick at least. At least he tried to do something big with Cano and Nelly. I was pretty pumped about cano. Jumping Jerry’s biggest swings came early when he was trading away the big chips Z-man acquired

It's hilarious how certain posters get SO mad at people that come on here & state the FACTS about the organization & don't get caught up in a couple weeks worth of DECENT play like they do. These posters who think they rule the forum, love playing both ends. When the M's are a few games over .500 30 games into the season & the poster is celebrating, they then switch reluctantly after the real M's arrive.

I give up on this team. They played better than I expected in areas up to this point. But this is mostly a AAA team. If something drastic, probably multiple drastic things aren't done before June is over then the season is over.

It's over. It has made it easy to just accept it. I'll pin the scores, check some highlights etc. Not wasting my time. Enjoying summer is more important than watching a crap team choke away another season.

The Misery Committee will be proud of me.

That's all we ask, join us! The disappointment and misery comes much sooner. You will get to enjoy the summer this way.

In their last 17, the Mariners are 13-4, and 16-12 overall and in first place. What's not to like?

When the season started, I think we all thought, "Oh no, here we go again," but Dan Wilson quickly turned the ship around.

They've been good despite being without George Kirby and Matt Brash. They have also been winning despite being without Victor Robles and Julio batting .196.

They are third in the AL in scoring, second in HRs and second in OPS. So it's not just pitching that's keeping them afloat.
What happened?……

Feels like 4 months ago :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

No need for the "I told you so" game. We all know they suck a** and they're not going to magically become a good team.
Wilson is NOT doing a great job. At all.

It's been a horrible stretch, 1-8 in their last 9 games. I don't know if you can point to any one thing. The hitting hasn't been good, but that's been a problem all year. Now the pitching has fallen apart.

Below .500 for the first time in a long time this season. Wilson's going to have to right the ship quickly.

To some extent, every team goes through bad stretches. The Phillies have also lost 8 out of their last 10, and that's a good team. The question is whether these last few games are a blip or a trend.

It hasn't been just these last few games though. They played well for a month (April) but they've been pretty bad since then. They're 15-22 since April. They've now lost 6 series in a row and been swept in 2 of their last 3 by teams that are under .500. They have the 2nd worst record in the AL in their past 20 games behind only the A's.

It's looking more and more like April was the blip and this is just a straight up bad team.

Yeah, definitely been an up and down season. We'll soon see what direction they're going in. I don't have much faith in the reinforcments--Ben Williamson, Cole Young, Dominic Canzone. Unless we get a solid bat, things are not going to change for the better.

My guess is, they eventually start winning, and end up 1 game out of the post season again for the 3rd straight year. Then pick up some throw away free agents next offseason and start this BS all over again.

Normally, I would expect the typical September tease and falling a game or two short. This year? I just don't see it. Would love to be way off, but this team just sucks. It's that simple.

I wasn't for Dan Wilson as coach but I think he has done well with no experience for having a shit team with a shit owner and GM. I just hope at the end of it all it doesn't tarnish what he did here as a player. Same with Edgar.
