I'm going to go out on a limb here and surmise that you aren't too fond of this Husky coach.
It's not like I hate the guy. He does come off as kind of a piece of ish, you can be a piece of ish IF YOU WIN. He won't. Not enough.
The problem with him is not his character (or lack thereof). But instead, he simply isn't better than his field. In the Big 10, he is likely not even the 6th best coach in the conference. So why is he coaching HERE?
He is supposedly an offensive guru? I haven't seen it. What I HAVE seen is piss poor defense and I have seen our defensive players get worse, not better, as the season progresses.
In an earlier post, I listed the hallmarks of a bad coach. Then pointed out that he seems to have many of those same tendencies/weaknesses. It wasn't a great sign.
This isn't like Jimmy Lake, who was a Peter Principle guy where it was clear it was out of his element. He likely won't have some series of ridiculous glaring failures that let us jettison him quickly. He just isn't a quality enough coach for a place like Minnesota or Wisconsin, much less a school where great football is expected - like Washington. By the time they get rid of him, Washington will have lost a lot of its relevance. Which will make it harder to GET a good coach again.
