I'm thinking 8-4, which would be pretty solid. A lot of turnover on that roster. But overall, I'm impressed with how much Fisch has done, considering how late he got to UW. His recruiting has always been very good.

Never ever ever have I been more concerned about the Ducks losing that O. Like, I'm not sleeping. Michigan is currently over-rated. Through no fault of their own. They'll challenge again soon. OSU? Day will figure out a way to screw the pooch. I'd like to believe that trend will continue with Lanning as well, but I think he's outgrown the false bravado he brought to Eugene from the SEC. I see Oregon winning the B1G, They're just too loaded and too mature. And that will (probably) get them a shot at UGA for the title. Unless, Kiffin pulls a stunner (?!)..and I suspect that to be at least plausible.

Anyone but Oregon is my battle cry this year and I'm hopeful we can get to 8 wins. 7 will be slightly disappointing and 9 will be cause for celebration (imo). Go Dawgs.

Oregon, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State are the opponents that stick out which Huskies most likely struggle against. I think the Huskies are better than UCLA and USC.
Agreed. Home vs Michigan is our only hope at an upset, imo.

But USC...wildcard. In limited play I got to see their new starting QB last year. The kid is money. No way should he have been behind Williams, IMO.

I think the national media has written the Huskies off and we will surprise a lot of them. They just see "new coach, new QB" and figure that equals "won't be good".

Definitely feels like that. Just have a feeling worst case we'll be better defensively with Bellichek jr. His dad is helping behind the scenes too with breaking down film etc.

Pretty fascinated to see how the styles do against each other. Pac 12/west coast generally has the better qb's and skill players vs the trenches/more run focused traditional big 10 (I get its a generalization and teams like ohio st have good skill players).

Washington lost a lot of starters, so I don't think we will dominate. I do think winning 10 games is very possible, though.

I have no clue what the Huskies got in the tank for this year. No idea. And I'm a pretty big Husky fan. There's nothing resembling last year's team this year. It was a wholesale changing of the guard.

When I look at the schedule, I think 8-4, but I have almost nothing to base it on.

College football has made itself so hard to follow these days. Everything is in constant flux. I'm going blind into this college football season.

the transfer portal either needs to go away or have some serious gates on it. It's going to ruin college football.

I'm starting to get fired up for this season. They lost a TON of guys off the ncg roster for sure. They still have some dudes though, and Fisch has shown the ability to elevate a team that people didn't think much of. Combine that with moving to a new conference with cupcakes to help you get going and I think they could scare some teams later in the season and maybe threaten to make the expanded playoffs...

They def. wanna' pound the rock, I like it. I was having fun reading comments from fans on a husky page after the 1st two drives. Hilarious.
Basically, the team was gonna' win 4 games, Fisch sucks, new QB sucks, everything sucks.

Same people.........these guys look great!

Man, 20 is fun to watch. Overall, I thought it was a nice start to the new era. Plenty to work on but I like the effort.

I dunno. Defensively it looked mostly fine. Run defence a little iffy at points.

I got some Jimmy lake era vibes with the offense in that first quarter against Weber state though. That O line concerns me and Rogers is no Penix. Loved the new RB though.

So far I've seen both, things that make me confident, and things that have made me incredibly nervous.

Having the Apple Cup in September has taken all the excitement out of it for me. I doubt I'm alone in this. Shoot, even my coug friends were saying it just feels like another game.

Go Dawgs
