Well, we have a potential Wild Card Preview coming up against the Packers next week so we get to see what the Packers will and won’t do against the Seahawks if they meet in the Wild Card.

I'm in! These past four games, in economic terms, has been a V-shaped recovery. We have a tough row to hoe the next four weeks, GB, Vikes, Bears, and Rams, but if we can get two of the four, we're probably in. And this team, if our special teams can get it together, is feeling it. You can see it. We're a team on the rise heading into the last quarter of the season.

Sheesh, we are 8-5 with a commanding lead in the division with 4 games left. How about a little excitement you reprobates?!

I’m definitely enjoying our position but I don’t call a one game lead over a team we still have to play very commanding. Looking ahead at our schedules and I’d say odds favor the Rams.

I definitely see a path for us but it’s not an easy one.

Let’s enjoy our position while we have it and take this week by week

Rams beat the Bills and the 49ers pummeled a terrible Bears team. I'm excited the team is 8-5, but those two showed they still have somewhat of a pulse. Winning out would be phenomenal, but the Rams are a must win and beating the Packers, Vikings, or both would be a huge statement itself.

I love it. We had weeks of fire the staff or the coaching changes were bad and we look to be trending in the right direction.

Defense is playing better than it has in YEARS. Thats massive moving forward and we can build on it.

Offense looks better. We’re doing more gap run stuff which fits our personnel better. Geno listened to Mac and focused on ball security. I think it neutered him a little but that’s to be expected. I think as Geno’s confidence grows he will get some more explosive stuff down the field too moving forward.

I’m pumped

But, but, but the Rams and 9ers won!!!!

Let’s go shrink and shrivel and worry we can’t win the division because these two MASH teams are going to beat us!

Man, we are a rough crowd of PTSD. Even with the proof in our face that we are trending up, we still have to be scared that these teams will suddenly destroy our chances.

Have some faith peeps

Nobody can destroy our chances but us. We win out we are in. It won’t be easy but it’s true

Definitely trending up. I think we beat the Bears, and the Packers and Vikings are going to be tough opponents and a really good measuring stick for us. I think the Seahawks are capable of beating the Vikings, I'm not so sure about the Packers. But.....I think this defense isn't going to get bullied by anyone and they'll keep us in any game.

While I'd far rather own the division before we play the Rams the last week of the season, I wouldn't hate that being a winner-take-all event. We're a better team now than we were a month ago - the Rams played the Hawks right before the bye. I'm confident in our chances there.

Right, I would be much more comfortable if the Rams would've lost to the Bills, honestly it shocked me they beat them..

This is an absolute blast. Shoot, they've exceeded what I thought we would see. Coach Mike is doing a HELL of a job.
And let's give some credit to Grubb and Huff. Those guys also called a hell of a game.

Yeah, i've been excited all season regardless of the record. We finally have something different and it appears to be going in the right direction exceeding all expectations.

Personally, I'm almost in complacent mode. I've actually seen what I had hoped to see at the beginning of the season. It looked a little dicey there before the bye week losing 5 of 6, but winning cures a lot of ills. :)

Beyond the record is how well they played. If they continue to play well, they will continue to win games, but the season is hitting it's most challenging stretch in 3 of the next 4 games. The Bears might be a possible let down/trap game, but the Pack, Vikes, and Lambs stand in our way and they are no slouches.

Having said all that, I love that I can't wash my jersey because we're on a 4 game winning streak. Damn it's much funner to win than the alternative.

And sure, the record could be worse etc. But the Chiefs and Philly (2 of the best teams in the league) both barely beat the Panthers. It's not always pretty.

I think we can see what Grubb can bring if his O line is just functional let alone being good to great, Sataoa Laumea has seeming solidified a ongoing issue, Run game has improved each game he has been in, Geno if I read it correctly basically untouched yesterday also. JSN has broke out, worry about DK and Lockett's production lately, DK gimped possibly and Lockett was injured also. Hopefully thinks keep trending on the improvement scale, and don't replace Sataoa Laumea, if it works don't fix it.
