AJ intrigues, he is faster than Bobo, with his 40-yard dash time of 4.84 seconds. He's also taller at 6'6, bigger at 251 pounds, and 34.5" vertical jump. Not sure about his route running or hands, but as a TE, should we assume that he blocks well enough?
I like Barner. He makes me forget how much I miss Colby Parkinson

I'm hoping that Grubb has got some plays for Shenault catching short passes over the middle. That guy is fast (4.4 40) and has some serious YAC potential. That dude is not quite as tall as DK, but he is just as big. (6' 1" and 227 pounds) And he can not only bulldoze people, he has some serious wiggle and escapability. We all saw what he did on that 97-yard kick return. Get him matched up against the Bills' nickel back, Taron Johnson, 5' 11" and 190 pounds.

I’d like to see him on some screens and reverses too. It’s crazy how we don’t use screens but always get burned by them

Honestly I hope we run, we need to do that more anyway. Sounds like the perfect reasoning to me.

The only postiive I can think is I think there has been the odd time where Geno has tried to force it to DK even if it's not there. Understandable since he's our #1 but this might cause Geno to spread it around even more

Barner has caused 2 TDs to be called back because of holding penalties.

He hasn't had the chance to show he can replace DK even somewhat.
There’s a reason for that Indy. Coaches know, through camps and practices, he is entirely not capable of doing that.

I’m not hating on Bobo. He can definitely contribute. But he’s not replacing DK as a #1.

It doesn’t take game reps to come to this conclusion.

Tyler Lockett is going to have a breakout game today.

He's still a quality, premier receiver in 2024.

Agree…I know this didn’t age well but, Lockett is still incredibly good.

The problem is the O-line. No time…

We can’t even run the ball let alone pass block effectively.

I can't recall Geno throwing the ball to Tyler more than 2 or 3 times.

I don't know if that's because he wasn't open much or something else.
