Are we talking about the fake news poll? Thats the only one I see stickied.

I would not categorize Grant’s post as fake news nor would I say grant is just some guy. He’s been covering sports in mainstream publications for two decades. any indication this is a false grant account.

Grant’s comment was about our Kubiak, not theirs, and reading between the lines he may believe we got the better brother. Who is now a Seahawk.

You referred me to the fake news poll dealing with two issues, one fake news, two, rumors and speculation over this with a request to opine on that topic, which I did. The topic at hand though involves our offensive coordinator being talked about by a rival teams journalist and where said topic should be categorized.

You make the rules and I don’t. I would just like clarification as to what is going forward. When Niners writers or fans talk about ex Niners personnel presently on the Seahawks, is that a NFL nation topic or a. Sin board one?

I DO NOT make the rules.

I’m simply offering everyone a voice in an effort to gather data.
Said data will be used to determine if a rule change would be justified.


Your posted tweet with absolutely no context or conversational direction is exactly what I’m lobbying against.

No it doesn’t appear to fake, rumor or speculation but it does appear that many members don’t want that type of post here.

At least have a bit of courtesy and start the conversation out with what you want to discuss.

Personally, I think Klint is a breakout steal over his brother Klay who’s called nothing since preseason. Kling has improved his offense to probable deep playoff contenders. Win the divisional or the title and, well, we won’t be keeping him from interviewing for hc somewhere.

If he leaves, idk if I’d have McDaniel as anything but bridge/short term. Offense is his area and frankly that hasn’t been to par enough for other teams to trust him.

Well, that looks like a...(link).

If the Seahawks do really well this year their most promising coaches and players on expiring contracts will be poached. If they collapse and finish 6-11 coaches will be fired and players won't be re-signed. If the team finishes with about 10 wins and doesn't get past the wild-card round...well, there will be some interesting discussions. I'm good with it either way. I could see Kubiak being poached. I could also see teams passing on him.

The Seahawks are doing better than I expected this season and this forum is better for it. Misery isn't fun, even for a fan of a rival team.

For what it's worth when I see someone make a strong statement that I would tend to disagree with I often reply with 'Bookmarked'. Normally because I think it'll be an interesting post to discuss in the future. Also for what it's worth my record on 'Bookmarked' comments is almost certainly below .500.

Beat writers don’t normally praise rival offensive coordinators, and the longer our playoff run goes the longer he likely stays on the topic. Grant makes a living in institutional journalism just as Michael-Shawn Dugar and Bob Condetta do. He has access we don’t and here he is basically saying that the wrong Kubiak got away to Seattle. Which is supported by present stats. Why wouldn’t that be of interest to Seahawks fans? The fact it’s a 49ers writer saying it makes it extra sardonic, even.
