Thanks again Jville, you were sharp to find that!!!

I kinda thought the team liked Adams so they will be keeping him. Do think the depth on the DLine is the best the team has had in a very long time.

Updated.

You have to wonder if the team just thought they could keep Adams if he was waived allowing the acquisition of Finley. If so they were right and will have a much deeper pile of DLine players to work with next season. Very slowly the depth seems to be improving on the DLine and I am very curious as to how things will look when Nwosu returns.

Am starting to like the look of the Hawks D as they start to get and implement MM's scheme.

I thought Myles Adams would become a part of their rotation. He should get a revised opportunity in Detroit.

A player the forum isn't talking as much as it could about is CB Josh Jobe. What a timely find and fit.

Jobe has been a little too inconsistent for me. I do see a lot of potential there though.

I agree with Jville about Jobe, he has played well over initial expectations since being brought up from the PS. He’s a hard tackler and plays with the physicality missing from Woolen’s game, with that physicality he could be like Sauce Gardiner, at present he’s just Riq Woolen, that version is weaker than Tariq Woolen. Every corner gets beat from time to time but Jobe makes the player he’s covering know he’s there. Our star DB. #21 Witherspoon is a tone setter Woolen needs to learn from his game.

Certainly two different players with far different physical abilities but I like the no quit in Jobe.

Thanks my friend, Much appreciated as ever!!!

I was expecting a move or two at returner given the disasters of yesterday and the woeful play up to now of the two returners. Shenault is now gone and things appear to be somewhat suspect for the continued presence of Dee Williams as well. Time will tell. At this point so far Williams has given up at least 3 or 4 turnovers deep in our zone by his inability to secure or hold onto the football.

Surely the team can improve the level of talent at returner.

Updated.

There is an open spot on both the PS and the 53 man roster

The team roster page is inconsistent with the transaction page which shows Bohanna being released on Nov. 28th.

Please see also Post #539 here.

If I’m a betting man, I‘d bet he’s on the short list to go. He’s really been unimpressive at his job. I expect we might see Cody White returning kicks before too long and another DB/CB elevated instead of Dee Williams.

I’m hopeful we see Nwosu activated from IR this week and that he quickly returns to the form we hoped to see from him.

Team makes 3 roster moves:

back in to PS:
DT- Quinton Bohanna,
OC- Mike Novitsky, actually never truly part of the PS until now.

out:
TE- N’Keal Harry,

Still an open spot on the 53 man roster, awaiting Nwosu perhaps ?

Updated.

Bringing in a #3 developmental center was over due. (y)(y)(y)

I've long since tired of wide receiver to tight end conversion projects. I prefer physical blocking tight ends that can go beyond just chip or influence blocks.

Quinton Bohanna provides a little two gap insurance. Although, his heavy feet limit his range.

I'd be nice to see the team continue to add candidates at OG as well. It's instructive to know that Jalen Sundell was started ahead of Olu for one game. Sundell was a UDFA with a solid college reputation for playing multiple positions though size wise he's a more likely OC asa pro. Clearly the team likes Sundell.

Bohanna being added back certainly deepens the pile but I'd choose Adams over him w/o any hesitation.
