It appears there could be a trade in the works for an ILB, preliminary reports indicate that ILB Baker plus a 4th are being traded to the Titans for ILB Ernest Jones IV.

So far this is unconfirmed.

Seahawks waive SS- Ty Okada:

I'd expect Okada could be added back to the PS if the team feels they need depth. It's clear they like this player somewhat, so him returning to the PS might not be that much of a stretch. AS well SS- Jerrick Reed is or should be back soon as he was activated from PUP to practice 10 days ago.

For years I have been beyond just interested in how the team builds and manages the roster, that is my underlying basis for this thread. There are some amazing cocontributors to this thread who make it a whole lot easier (they are my partners here and all knowledgeable diligent guys and greatly appreciated) as with most things like this it’s a bit of a labour of love.

As is the case with most of us I bleed blue and green. Love my team even when they serve up a clunker like yesterday’s uninspired effort. I think the team needs to find some attitude, however, it’s clear the same problems stay the same problems with little variation.

I find it interesting I guess is all I can say. Thanks for asking.

Thanks kidhawk, greatly appreciate your help here!!!

The release of OLB/edge rusher Jamie Sheriff will likely be unpopular with some but even with need for edge rush help he was not seen to be ready yet to be brought up by the defensive staff. Somehow though I don't think the team has seen the last of Jamie Sheriff and I expect him back before not very long.

Michael Dowell looks to be one of those death backer or hybrid S/LB type players that the team wanted to have a look at and noticing that Sheriff had been waived before thought perhaps he was expendable short term (potentially able to be brought back) or that he just wasn't ready yet. It seems clear the PS gets churned a bit to deal with situational needs

Here is a draft profile for Dowell:

A note on Jobe, this makes his third elevation. I’m pretty sure that means we can’t elevate him again. The only way to activate him after this week is to sign him to the roster
