My final 2024 Seahawks mock draft

This is my last 2024 Seahawks mock draft. I have us trading down a twice. This is a rebuilding year, hence all the one year contracts JS signed in free agency this year. Trade: Seahawks trade 1st round #16 to Commanders for 2nd round #36 & 2nd round #40. Trade: Seahawks trade 2nd round #40 &...

Seahawks 2024 mock draft March 24th

In this draft JS trades down in the 1st round with Bills. Seahawks trade #16 to Bills for 1st round #28, 2nd round #60, and 5th round #163. I know some want to stay at #16 and take best available, but JS has a history of trading down in the 1st round and he probably wants to recoup a draft...

Who are the Dawgs on our roster

We need more Dawgs on our team! What Dawgs do you want to add to our team in the draft or free agency? Also, do we have Dawgs on our current roster?

Seahawks pre-NFL combine 2024 mock draft

New mock for the Seahawks before the NFL combine. In this mock draft I have us trading Geno and a 2025 4th round pick to the Falcons for their 2nd round pick this year. I know trading Geno is a hot topic, but his new contract makes it more likely than before. 1st round #16 - (QB) JJ McCarthy...

JJ McCarthy mindset and off the field clips

Here are a few clips of JJ off the field and his mind set. I like how in this video below, JJ just rode out his teammate messing with him during the interview. He seems like just one of the guys. He seems mature beyond his years. He, as of today, looks like a QB worth trading up for in the...

Seahawks post Senior Bowl 2024 mock draft

In this mock draft I have us trading Geno Smith to the Falcons for their 2nd round pick #43. The Falcons owner wants a veteran QB this year, so the Geno trade is a win-win for both the Seahawks and the Falcons. The Seahawks would have to take on some of Geno's contract for this year. That would...

    Christmas day Seahawks mock offseason

This is a mock off-season for the Seahawks. I have Pete Carroll returning as the Head Coach, which impacts the drafting of a future QB. After the season the Seahawks release: Jamal Adams, Quandre Diggs, Bryan Mone, Geno Smith, Dre' Mont Jones, and Will Dissly. This would give the Seahawks $65...

Seahawks new head coach next year...

If the Seahawks lose a few more games this year, then I think Pete Carroll will retire. So a fantastic offensive head coach for us could be Eric Bieniemy. He is a former RB, but as on offensive coordinator he loves to throw the rock. Listening to his interview he seems like he holds his coaching...

    goalline defense

49ers on the 4 yard line and the Seahawks defense had two DT and two small DE (Darrell Taylor and Mafe), and 5 dang DBs. Goalline defense needs to be big dogs and not bad run defensive players! So frustrating.

Dre'Mont Jones is not a 3-4 defensive end!

    D. Jones is a strong side DE on a 4-3 defense that can kick inside on 3rd and long situations. Yet, we spent hella money to play him out of position as a DE on 3-4 defense, dude is 20 lbs too light for the position. I really like him as a player, but not in our crappy 3-4 scheme.

Clint Hurt and his 3-4 defense need to go

I really like Clint Hurt as a motivator, but his scheme/play calling just isn't working. Nor do we have the defensive lineman to support it. I'm seeing 5 or 6 DB's and 2 defensive lineman way too often.

    Tre "short arms" Brown

Tre Brown has 2 missed tackles already. Those dang short arms of his is probably the reason he tends to miss tackles. Dude just doesn't have the arm length to wrap up.

Seahawks way too early 2024 three round mock draft

I have been looking at some of the 2024 NFL draft prospects, so I thought I would put out a Seahawks 3 round mock draft. All these players are draft eligible for the 2024 draft. I think the Seahawks will be a good playoff team this season, so I have them with the #27 pick in the 1st round...

49ers fans perspective of the Seahawks after the draft

I came across a video of two 49ers fans that were discussing the Seahawks team from their perspective. After watching the video they seem to have really good knowledge of our team and players; which makes their opinion unusually unbiased. It's nice to know what more level headed opposing fans...

Less than a week Seahawks 2023 mock draft

I have done a lot of mocks for the Seahawks 2023 draft and this is my last for this draft. In this draft I have taken into account the Seahawks top-30 visits and what JS and Pete have said about how they have evolved their drafting of prospects. 1st round #5 - (CB) Devon Witherspoon 5'11' 181...

    JS interview about top-30 visits

It's a bit informative about the draft process from his point of view/Seahawks point of view.

Revisiting Tyree Wilson for the Seahawks

I had a hard time seeing Tyree Wilson's fit on a 3-4 defense earlier during the draft process. But, I've gone back to him and I think his best fit for us would be OLB in our 3-4 defense. He isn't the athlete or have the bend like Iowa State OLB/DE Will McDonald. But, Wilson's athleticism looks...

The best WR in the draft...

The WR rankings are a bit all over the place. This is not a great draft for WRs, but IMO there is at least one bonafide 1st round WR and that is North Carolina WR Josh Downs. Downs has a great 10-yard split of 1.49 seconds (acceleration), which shows on tape. He posted explosive testing numbers...

Mock 2023 Seahawks Free Agent signings

John Schneider likes using his Free Agent cap space on quantity over quality. So here are the players I have him signing before the NFL draft. I'm using PFF's projected contracts for each Free Agent. Also the Seahawks have the Cap space, or can create the Cap space, to sign all these players...

Post Geno resigning Seahawks Mock draft 2023

In this mock draft I have John and Pete waiting to see how the top-4 picks play out. They lose out on the QBs they were wanting so they trade down to the Raiders #7 overall pick and acquire an additional 2nd round pick this year and next year. Raiders select the last remaining QB, that the...
