    How opposing players viewed Howell

I found this article quite interesting. Seemed like a lot of good tangibles and some things needing to get fixed. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/01/03/sam-howell-sacks-interceptions/

    Jordon Travis

What if we sign Geno, draft a kid like Travis in the 4th as an understudy. He’s got good measurable stuff . Travis is a dual-threat quarterback with some major elusiveness. He manages the pocket well and slides away from pressure when it comes his way. With his dual-threat ability, Travis...

    QB analysis

JS has a great history of identifying QB talent. Now add Grubb and MM and how close they are to the college ranks. Grubb with Penix and MM with JJ. I feel we’re in great hands here if we decide to draft a qb this year.

    Huskies have Carroll and Belichick

Brennan Carroll and Steve Belichick the new OC and DC.

    I didn’t see Pete

With his new “advisor” role, I didn’t see him lurking around the press conference. What could Management have him doing today?

    Wagner tackle title

They mentioned he needed 12 to win tackle title in 2023. Great year, slowing In coverage, but he can still play. Give me these top 4 back.

    Interesting take on Penix

Penix as a Seahawk? Mike Salk agreed with Klatt’s assessment of Penix as a pro, and said he’d love for the Seahawks to take him if he’s available. Let’s just say Klatt doesn’t want that to happen. “Please no … I’m sorry, but the Seahawks, that’s like seeing Jaxon Smith-Njigba go up there,”...

    Would love to see this

Hire Harbaugh, draft McCarthy and reunite them with Oluwatimi.

    Is PC a QB coach?

Pete Carroll has been known as a great DB coach and primarily a defensive coach. But, can you say he's a great QB coach as well? Does his offense of run first and ball control set up his QB's for success? I choose to look on the bright side because of Pete Carroll’s history with...

    Another useless JA thread

So, forgive me if this has been brought up. I’ve look at JA games played for 2021 and 2023 only. Games he’s played, Hawks are 8-13. Games without JA playing Hawks are 6-4. Hmmm coincidence?

    1 tackle

    Big boy J Carter, 1 tackle/sack.

    Walker TD run

I’ve not seen anyone mention the block Lock threw at the end zone. That fired up some players to have your qb going all out trying to win.

    What would this look like?

Kam was 6’3” and 225lb and loved to hit. We have a 6’4” and 235lb on the roster that loves to hit. Put DK at SS and see how he likes dishing out pain like Kam. DK played corner in youth football and safety in high school. He even said he was born in defense.

    Who’s this?

Seen a pic and this dude is shredded. Who is he?

    Could Bush follow Kam’s path?

Kam was a highly touted Qb in Virgina, a gifted athlete. He played LB/SS hybrid during his time at VT. Bush is an incredible athlete and has the speed to cover. See this as a potential when Brooks comes back. Anyway, great story here...

    #29

I want Hall to wear #29, his college number. I don’t think anyone’s wore it since ET.

    Illinois QB take on Spoon

Tommy DeVito Illinois QB this morning said his first interaction with Spoon was in spring practice. He couldn’t ever complete passes against him and wondered who this kid was. He’s all over receivers and tremendous hands knocking passes. He said Spoon was the leader of the team and they fed...

Do you want good or elite?

If they chose Carter, our DL could have been good, probably not great out of the gate. But getting Spoon, with the rest of our current DB’s, the back end can be elite.

Both came from one team and were also CB and WR. Let’s repeat this.
