    It was a windy day outside, but I don't know how much of that strong wind got into SoFi, the air pockets are near the roof. It's a weird stadium. I think he felt he needed to get some extra juice to make a 55-yarder, and sometimes that does mess up a kicker's mechanics.

    Both beliefs are true. Need to put other pieces in place first, then get the QB on a rookie deal. Kenny Pickett was clearly the only franchise QB in this year's draft. Next year there will be 3-4 of them, and we'll be in a good position to grab one.

    Because right now every "contending" team is set on their starting QB. The Browns needed Jimmy but they didn't have anything to offer. If Trey Lance proves himself by mid-season, the 9ers will trade Jimmy to whoever loses their starting QB to injury.
