Can we stop the "Bradford" trial?

Shaheed is contributing. The Seahawks had 67 offensive snaps. Smith-Njigba played 55 snaps, Kupp 51, Shaheed 32, White 14, the TEs combined for 103, and FBs had 14.

Garbage time PFF grades are like garbage time stats. Good numbers are nice, but they don't really mean anything. The stuff that happens in the 1st 3 quarters means a heck of a lot more.

    NFC West clinched! (sort of)

It was the Kyler Murray injury wall, (again). He's missed 22 of the last 63 games.

It's not all about the passer rating

Passer rating has never meant much. Completion percentage isn't a critical stat and the game situation for INTs is more important than the number of INTs.

    Josh Jones

I commented on this in August and twice again in October. Jones did play well in preseason, but so did Bradford. In the meantime Jones has missed some time with an injury. Basically if Bradford was out, (for whatever reason), Sundell would be the obvious choice and Jones would be the next best...

Can we stop the "Bradford" trial?

Fans don't want to hear it but O-Line play isn't about winning your duel every play or making pancake blocks - it's about not losing quickly or badly multiple times per game. Greg Robinson had a lot of really good O-Line play for the Rams, but he'd get horribly beaten, and beaten quickly off the...

2025: the year of unconvincing teams

Some years there is 1, or a few, dominant teams and you know who will likely be in the Super Bowl weeks or even months in advance. Some years there are multiple good teams and everything is up for grabs. I like this uncertainty. It's get in and get hot at the right time.

    Geno Tracking Thread

I don't understand love for Smith but I understand the hate even less. He was never a top 5/elite QB. He had a great half a season when he first got the starting job. He also had a pretty good final season as a starter. (He would have had to play well to reach 4 of the 6 incentive targets)...

    Shaheed

Shaheed is a threat. Horton is a threat. It's really hard to consistently 'matriculate' your way down the field without such threats.

its no longer debatable whether this defense might be...

The Seahawks are currently 2-3 against teams with winning records in 2025. The Seahawks last 4 regular season opponents in 2025 all currently have winning records. The Seahawks are good. We'll soon find just how good.

And the NEW #1 Seed in the NFC...

Bears - Patriots Super Bowl. Book it!

Can we stop the "Bradford" trial?

I have to say I particularly enjoyed the left foot hop and left shoulder dip manoeuvres at the 'already past you' defender. That's a classic.

    Why no timeout?

I have no problem with settling for a FG but you should give yourself the opportunity to score a TD or have a closer FG attempt. It's not like the Vikings were going to do much with 20 or 30 seconds if the Seahawks didn't chew up every second.

    Bad Decision Leads To Greatness

Calling a pass wasn't the problem. Having him scramble backwards and throw blind was the problem. I had no problem with him risking an INT but it should have been snap the ball, 1-read, 2-read, throw. The commentators were awful. You can't take a big sack on 4th down.

I hate how close the NFC West is this year

Slightly off-topic but if you had told me after the 2024 Week 17 games that the Seahawks and Bears would be contending for the top 2 seeds in the NFC in 2025 I would have thought you were insane. Congrats to both teams. I'm still not ever going to go back and watch that 2024 game again though...

Does anyone else miss natural fields?

I miss grass fields. I don't miss bad weather conditions. I'm all for stadium fan comfort.

I hate how close the NFC West is this year

I'm not ruling out any of the 3 teams. I could see the Rams losing in Seattle and then the Seahawks losing in San Francisco. I think the Rams are the best team but I don't see them running the table.
