BREAKING NEWS: OC Ryan Grubb fired after 1 year

I liked Grubb for some of his innovation, but the org has decided so moving on. JS and MM, do your research and identify a top offensive mind, pay top $$ for a year or 2 and lets see where that takes us. Be nice to have SOLID O-Line performance at a pro level. Not asking for much.

Nicely done Judy! And thanks Costa for taking on the burden...cheers to you!

10 wins is a big deal

What would you have said in May 2024 for a 10-7 finish? I prognosticated 12-5, but I'm a homer most of the time. I think that me would still be happy with 10-7, like the current me. The D has improved tremendously over the season. The O-line has improved with some young guys playing...

    Thank you Tyler Lockett!!!

Excellent player and consummate professional. Hope they can figure it out, but doubtful right now.

    Jones IV Prefers Seattle

I remember a GM that had a similar take. I hope you're correct and we don't follow the alter-scenario. I agree on the take in principle...it is a negotiating period and both sides are engaging, even if they're "on a break".

Finishing xmas cleanup. Butter chicken with naan (made from a costco chicken, easy and delicious). Sporting Easley in the barn for the final show. Thanks to all the remaining participants in the thread and for pmed setting it up. Added a little sideline interest to an already fascinating season.

    PFF's opinion on Murphy

Totally agree. Murphy's performance needs to be judged as a function of his role of the d-line and not personal stats like sacks.

    Jones IV Prefers Seattle

I hope your wrong as well. They can restructure Geno and possibly Lockett (if not on Lockett, I see almost 0% chance he's in Seattle next year...sadly it's the business). There are other players they can re-work/cut as well. Jones IV must stay a hawk!

    Jones IV Prefers Seattle

Agreed. There's a big gap between #1 and #10 paid LB's in 2024. If JS can get him averaging $15m/year, sign him and don't look back. He may want Smith type cash and JS may have to pay it. Roquan Smith: Baltimore Ravens, $20 million per year Fred Warner: San Francisco 49ers, $19 million per...

I think we have a contender on our hands...

Keasley, thank you for the investment in time and thought process. Intelligent and articulate, as usual. I'm in agreement, so we can both eat crow if it goes south...but we've seen a pivot with the strategic moves JS & MM made at ILB and O-Line that broke through the glass ceiling. I've been...

    OL 2025

They might be able to trade Haynes in the offseason for a late round pick or a backup player that fits.

Day after our xmas party, hopefully not needing hair of the dog. Glad for the later start so I can get some stuff done. In the barn with Traeger wings & meatballs from the party. Largent again, but wish I had a green uni. Maybe xmas this year. Roll the Packers and we become the most...
