If Houston grabs Anderson, I see AZ trading down. He was the whole reason to stand pat as a safe pick at a position of need. I don’t see them willing to assume Carter’s risk when they could parlay #3 into multiple quality picks.
Exactly. We want to run a lot of 12 and 13 personnel. I’d say a TE at #20 would be a better fit than WR. We can add WR depth later in the draft, but we’re a tight formation, multiple TE offense.
I feel pretty certain all the QB love from the Seahawks is to pressure some QB hungry team to trade up with AZ. That’s the only way Anderson (safest pick at a need) falls to them.
Carter may well be the plan B pick at 5. PCJS have a habit of intentionally ignoring their top pick leading up to...
And I don't think Bobby is Bobby anymore. I don't think the FO can bring him back at all because of his relationships in the locker room. He was captain of the team for nearly a decade, it's not like he can come in and just be a contributing veteran.
And will the team/Bobby be able to stomach...
I think the only way the Seahawk FO is involved in this rumor is put pressure on the Raiders or someone to trade up with the Cardinals. Unless the Cards trade out to a QB-needy team, our pick becomes a lot more difficult.
I'm not sold on Kancy. Kancy is like a velociraptor, fast and quick, but with trex arms. Too small to play NT, not long enough to play DE.
NFL tackles are just going to put their hand on his forehead and watch him thrash at air...
I like that we can field a full team right now, over a month before the draft. Last year at this time we had no idea who was going to play OT, CB, DE, WR...
We're in BPA-mode entering this draft, which is a pretty good feeling.
