    As much as I want to, I cannot disagree with much of your post. The only point I’ll argue is the lineup. Julio has been raking of late. Do not like the ownership or the manager’s managing ability, I like SS as a person but his skill managing a team leaves a lot to be desired IMHO.

    Raul had a pretty nice career too. Super cool guy in person as well. My nephews select team played against his sons team which he was coaching at the time. Took time to take pictures with the kids from the opposing team after the game.

    Kelenic’s biggest problem is his “approach” to AB’s sucks which lead to many 0-2, 1-2 counts where pitchers have a big advantage. He is in his own head and I think he’s hearing from multiple people trying to correct the problem. Need to pick one person he trusts the most and ignore the rest...

    It does bother me @ the MLB level. I think pitch counts are good for little league, select leagues, high school, and college to save arms. I remember Randy Johnson pitching 140 pitch complete games, then pitching 130 pitches next time out, and he pitched for 20+ years in the bigs.

    Don’t care what he thinks, he’s a Donko now. They are going to tire quickly of his diminishing skill set and knack for turning a 5 yard sack into an 18 yard drive killing sack. I’m thankful for his part in the Super Bowl runs and winning a Lombardi but it’s time to move on.
