Can't blame him for propping his guy up; that's what leaders do. That being said, the way the QB position was addressed this past offseason was an abject failure. Trading Russ was the right move. Everything they did after that was wrong.

Geno literally had a good game and was not the reason they lost. He also got them into scoring positions on their final two drives before they were derailed by BS penalties and sacks.

I mean, all the available QB's that were on the market or available for trade aren't exactly lighting it up.

Matt Ryan, Jimmy G, Baker, Mariota, etc all have stunk worse than Geno.

Geno's play was not the reason the Seahawks lost yesterday. Had the defense even been average that's probably a win. I'm fine with Pete propping him a bit.

Geno has been mostly pretty darn good, but as we saw last year as well he doesn't do well at the "score/we win, fail/we lose" kind of drives. He seems to try to do too much and plays beyond his ability.
