Yeah, Kosar was out of line with this, period.

He ripped their WR's in the 1st preseason game? Really? Very prudent and groundbreaking, Bernie. I never heard Bradford has never even had 1 WR...do tell.

Kosar needs to shut his mouth. He's was a VERY overrated player. VERY. A poor mans Dave Krieg, without the punchable face.

Did you understand that Bernie Kosar was part of the game announcing crew?

What's his issue with Kellen Clemens? Gotta be some history there.

Kosar is so drunk on the job he could give a critical play by play on his own daughters "acting career" without noticing.

Fisher shouldn't have gotten baited into responding to the man.

Maybe he's just angry at everyone and everything because his daughter works in adult films on-camera.

I know if I had a daughter that was a porn star, I'd be punching random dudes on the street, personally.

Wait. What? Kosars daughter does porn? Is she Hawt?

IMHO Bernie Kosar probably shouldn't be participating in a live broadcast.
Kosar continues to deal with the lingering effects of several concussions he sustained during his playing career and is currently in a treatment program to alleviate his symptoms. The experimental treatment has been very helpful for Kosar, to the point where he has openly promoted the treatment in the hopes of helping other players who may have developed the symptoms of chronic traumatic encephalopathy

Bernie Kosar is a damaged individual.
Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) is a form of encephalopathy that is a progressive degenerative disease, which can only be definitively diagnosed postmortem in individuals with a history of multiple concussions and other forms of head injury

So, Jeff Fisher lost a lot of respect for a color commentator because that commentator had a few critical self-formed opinions of Fisher's players and coaches? It'd be one thing if Kosar was spewing venom, and maybe he was for all I know, but from those quotes, it sounded like he was making reasonable / fair observations.

Fouts and his dipshit braindead ex LB were a lot worse. They labeled a number of Seattle penalties cheap shots. Kosar's most egregious mistake was making fun of the Rams when he is a Browns fan. Not much room there.

Fisher would have been smart to not comment at all.

I just don't know if it is very smart of the NFL to say that Kosar got hit on the head to many times to now sit in the broadcast booth........ you know probably doesn't help them against the lawsuits.

Not sure about that as all the sports channels were talking about it this morning and basically what an idiot Kosar was for saying the types of things he did.

I just rewatched that game last night on NFL Network, and it was actually pretty painful to listen to him. He sounded drunk, very vanilla in tone, he seemed to know what he was talking about, but was a bit on the blunt side. If you're going to have that style fine, but at least do it with a little style like Barkley.. To me he sounded like a dude lying on his couch, commenting on a game to his buddy lying on the other couch.

I mentioned in another thread that I watched a bit of the Rams-Browns game, and it was just painful to listen to the Browns announcers. They were such ridiculous homers trying to talk up how the Browns and downplay any faulty plays during the preseason. I can't imagine having to listen to that while knowing your team is going to suck it up on the field.

Also, hawker84, change your avatar. Creepy.
