They are reporting that he is being sued for shooting a man in Miami earlier this year. The first suit was withdrawn, but evidently it is being refiled. There might be something pretty bad here. The guy reportedly lost his eye.

What do you mean never expect? Hernandez has always been in trouble dating back to college.

Welker gone, Hernandez in trouble, Gronk injured...a team with an extra WR/TE could probably get some very nice value out of the Pats right now.

As more stuff emerges this doesnt look good. Reprotedly not cooperating with investigators....

yeah, there's no reason to not be cooperative if you didn't do anything wrong ...

Me thinks you dont really understand how the US law system works...

That's an oxymoron.

I wouldn't talk to the authorities before I came up with an alibi either.

Doesn't look good for the dude.

From ROTOWORLD:

A law enforcement official tells FOX Boston that Aaron Hernandez "appears to be directly tied to the homicide" of "associate" Odin Lloyd in North Attleboro, Mass.
There are many important things to remember here, namely FOX 25 is not a typical Rotoworld source, and Hernandez has yet to be charged with a crime. That being said, the storm clouds appear to be gathering for the star tight end. FOX Boston reports Hernandez, Lloyd and two other men left a Boston-area bar in a car driven by Hernandez on the night of the homicide, but Odin was the only passenger not to make it back to Hernandez's house. Further, forensic evidence has reportedly placed a vehicle driven by Hernandez at "one of the crime scenes in (the) case." Police are still searching for a second vehicle. Thus far, Hernandez has declined comment.

If I am in Vegas I am racing to the casino to empty my account on the Patriots under for season victories and on the Dolphins to win the division at 5-1.

A degenerate thought, sure, but hey.

Sounds like Hernandez has some anger issues. Shoots a friend after the strip club in February. Now the guy that's dating his gf's sister is dead? A mile from his home after hanging out with him?

Looks like the arrest bit was false; or the police are just covering themselves because it's a celebrity. Who knows?

Does it make me evil that I’m really hoping Aaron Hernandez gets in huge legal trouble over whatever happened, and goes to jail for 5 years, screwing the Pats over? I ask because I feel a bit guilty in placing my love of football over the livelihood of a young man, so does that make me evil?
