    Haha, okay, garbage was an overreaction. I just feel he falls into the Meek Mill/Kid Ink/Wiz group for not much substance in their music and just talk about money, girls, etc. It all sounds good and flows well but I just can't really get into it.

    And c'mon, I've only posted two Wayne songs! lol although I agree Wayne has gone into the lyrical 'rich rapper' category for the most part which I don't like. That's why I really like anything Childish puts out cause it's creative and tells a story.

    Oh, and Flo Rida is the best in the game right now :lol: :sarcasm_off:

  • I would be interested in hearing an example of some of Ace Hood's more lyrical material because what I heard up ^^there^^ in ^^that^^ song was about as boring, predictable and run of the mill as it comes. I record people who say the same things he said in that song every single day. Not impressive.

    the Dec 31st song TO ME shows it pretty well, then again I"m not much into looking into straight up lyrics, usually if a rapper has a dope flow I'll get into it

  • Oh and Yeezus is pretty good for me
    but I have been listening to a lot more EDM over the last few years and that last song is the only typical hip hop song the rest has a really grimy minimal dancehall feel...that song blood on the leaves is dope... kinda trappy
    His basic ass flow never has quite done it for me but he's got some good lines on this one

    :( I got atleast 2 weeks before I"m satisfied.

    I checked out the J. Cole album, it was okay, certainly wasn't gears towards me but there was a few cool tracks.

    I've given it a couple more listens. Still wouldn't say I'm a fan of it, but I guess it's not totally as offensive as it was the first time around. Some tracks have potential to grow on me I guess. I guess people need to push the boundaries sometimes or else we don't ever evolve, but this just feels like it over shot the mark by a few miles...

    So Zeb and Peaches will probably fricken love it.
