What's your age salamander? Mental and Physical?

Your behavior resembles someone who is between getting their learners permit and being able to legally drink alcohol.

Now I think you are just trolling, which makes me want to second the motion to move this to the smack shack.

However, there is a lot of good information and discussion on here that might get buried once this thread got smackified.

There is an obvious double standard here. First, if that was a 49ers logo being pissed on you'd have no problem with it . Second, apparently the Avatar of Hansen dropping a nuke is fair game but Stern pissing out the flame is out of bounds. Both are simply visual commentary on the situation. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think there's a difference between representing a minority opinion and trolling.

I'm just annoyed that Calvin and Hobbes have been sullied twice in this avatar. Once in that knockoff "pissing" drawing that Bill Watterson hates. Then again because you placed the lying mug of David Stern and the underaged-girl-molesting mug of Kevin Johnson on the faces of the awesome Calvin and Hobbes.

Salamander, your presence, to gloat and add nothing to this thread, vociferously deny all arguments that don't comply with your narrative, and taunt Sonics fans with a avatar that soils the greatness of Calvin and Hobbes to such a degree it borders on heresy might be trolling.

That fact that you found it fit to come here, and repeatedly come here, to stick your head in the sand and pound your company line is kind of trolling. Its like you came in here to convince us that the right, ethical, legal thing is happening in this situation. You aren't going to win this battle, because its not. It smacks of trolling to me, not blatant, not rampant, just consistent, jabbing, trolling. But, that's just me.

Awesome, seems to me that instead of the Seattle group backing out like stern and sac wants it's possible the opposite could happen and sac might be forced out due to it getting too expensive.

Talk about going for the jugular!

Plus that news posted By ExperienceJones about sac not putting the money in escrow yet.

This isn't over but it's far from the slam dunk Sacramento thought it was. What a roller coaster!

Ish just got real.

If the BOG still votes Hansen down, they are dooming themselves. Taking millions out of their own pocket in the immediate future and even more in the coming years. Hansen just made them all rich for doing nothing, let's see if they thank him or not

In a statement issued on his Sonics Arena website, Hansen described the move to raise his bid as “an effort to further demonstrate the extent of our commitment to bring basketball back to Seattle.”

He's more than made it clear that he's playing by the rules that the NBA provided and he's basically daring them to make Stern a liar. Stern himself said that they don't tell owners who to sell to.

“...an effort to further demonstrate the extent of our commitment to bring basketball back to Seattle.” Hmm. Essentially, "this is an effort to further demonstrate just how hard we're going to twist your nuts in a vice grip until you allow this to happen, Stern."

BAD ASS.

Let's see how it plays out first. He might have to run the team in Sac for a while, dude. That banner might not make him look all that great as the new owner of the Sacramento Kings.

Even if his bid for ownership fails he deserves that gesture. Plus, if he owns the Kings in Sac, I'm pretty sure everyone knows the writings on the wall there.

Yeah... they also told Clay Bennett and Michael Heisley that they couldn't move the Sonics and the Grizzlies from Seattle and Vancouver as well. How did those movies end again...?

Honestly, if he has to "operate" the team in Sacramento for at least 1 season you're telling me that we should be flying a Chris Hansen banner up here, while they still reside (and no relo has been approved) in Sac?

I never said he wouldn't EVER get to relocate the team. I think it's retarded to fly a banner while they're down there and no relo has been approved. it's just stupid.

If he fails, fly the banner. If relo is approved, fly the banner. If he operates it for a year and then relo is approved, fly the freaking banner...

of course. You don't hang the banner until after you win the championship. This is only like the second round of the playoffs right now. Finish the job first guys...

Naw he needs a flag on the space needle for all he's done for us, win lose or draw.

Just my opinion.

If he owns the team, he wouldn't have to stay in Sacramento. He could just move the team. I would love to see the NBA sue him and lose, though.

Look, if he ends up owning the team, it's over. I would hang the flag just because he (and Ballmer and everyone else) is incredibly AWESOME, but owning the team = Sonics are back. He'll just up and relocate them.

I wish it was that easy to move a team if you own it. It still has to go to a vote.

Tell that to Al Davis. He upped and moved the team without a vote, then beat the NFL in court.

So did Donald Sterling, and he ALSO beat the NBA in court.

The NFL is so scared of losing in court on these matters that they rolled over and let Georgia Frontiere move the Rams to STL when she threatened a lawsuit even though the NFL didn't really want that move to happen.
