Thats pretty cool. Also a bunch of players, like Bobby, Justin Tuck and DeMarcus Ware, are going to these type of facemasks as it helps keep offensive lineman from grabbing onto them. Provides defensive players a bit more protection.

Whoever's hands those are in the picture. Wearing gloves when weight lifting or doing manual labor wouldn't hurt lol

You got a problem with man hands ? haha, I'm betting there aren't a lot of metrosexuals in the NFL. You can't be that sensitive and go mash people on the field

I love that mask. It channels some Bane.

Probably from trap bar / dead lift exercises, if I had to guess. I know those always ripped my hands up.

Purple?

Matches Marshawn's mouthpiece.

Its the regulated team color . They dont get to choose.

Yeah, ok, but it looks purple to me.

That royal blue looks purple under certain kinds of light. remember when Kam unveiled the new uni at that Nike thing and everyone blew up about our new purple uniforms? Out under the stadium lights, it'll be blue.

Yeah, Ray Lewis wore one like this.

Doesn't it seem like it would be more difficult to see with this on?

I like it! I remember thinking that grill was badass on a Raven uniform. Heck, it I thought even looked badass on a Cowpoke uniform. It's gonna be smokin' on Wagner! I wonder if anyone else will switch? (I think I'd lose my mind if the whole D-line started wearing them.)

It might seem that way, but really the only definitive blind spots are going to be the horizontal bars. And even those will be moving enough that they really won't get in the way of him seeing whatever he needs to see.
