About damn time. I thought he was pretty good when he coaches the Sonics but this year he led denver to a ten record 58 wins going 38:3 at home. Naturally though they went out in the first round. Would have enjoyed seeing him win an NBA championship.

Good for him. Guy has earned it. Coaching GP in his youth alone would have driven a lot of other coaches to early retirement.

Sadly, he's the Peyton manning of the NBA playoffs.

I think George will get a championship, eventually. Larry Brown won one in Detroit using the same "more team" less superstar approach. Pop has done it as well.
