Am I the only loser that still watches it? I'll turn in my man card if I have to, but I still love the show.

If you're willing to admit that you're a loser like me, and you still watch it.... who ya got?

I started the season rooting for Angie, but now i'm all about Amber. That girl is amazing. And beautiful.

J, don't worry, man. You don't have to turn in your man card.

...Can't turn in what you gave up years ago, sucker! (Just playin', broseph.)

In all seriousness, while I think the opportunities given to the top few contestants are pretty cool, the show bores me. I've never gotten into it. Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares are more along the kind of reality TV I dig.

My favorite scripted reality show is CSPAN.

Random thought/question; has there ever been an unscripted reality TV show? (Not just one that claimed it was unscripted.)

Doubtful, but possibly Pawn Stars would be the closest to being unscripted.

A lot of the shitty ones are. But they get so much footage and the producers have so much control in the editing room that it might as well be.

I gave up on American Idol after Cowl left... i'll watch the voice and the new one Cowls on.. i think those shows are great, gives talented artists a vehicle to succeed that never existed before.. having opened for a few national acts i always ask and get the same answer.. i ask why do you guys think you made it, answer always is, right place , right time...

So ya i support those type of shows....wish they were around during my touring days...

I'm one of those happy people that realized after the first show I saw it was all bullshit and never watched again.

And I feel all the better for that.

Storage Wars and American Pickers for "reality" shows for me.

My Mrs. still faithfully watches Idol. I never have exept for parts of the first season. I know the ratings are WAY down this year and as a result I think this may be its swan song.

Just read that they're likely dumping Darrell and Dan and Laura from Storage Wars so that one may be on its dying breath too.

I'm hooked on American Pickers & Pawn Stars but the storage wars stuff never caught on with me. Of course none of the other pawn shows they are trying to put over on us did either.

One thing the storage shows have done is make it impossible for a guy to buy stuff cheap anymore. Now there are dozens in every town that think they can make a forture on doing that. Like the gold mines of old.

What do you bet the storage businesses got that started?

I'm way over reality shows with exception of Top Chef. I don't know what could be scripted but its possible. I don't evrn think of ot as a reality show though. More of a cooking show.

Storage Wars was good the first two seasons. Then they just got all excited to be them and you started realizing they plant shit.

Pawn Stars is solid because there is actually some historical value.

I dont enjoy any of those cooking shows. Just not in my interest area at all.

I used to really enjoy Survivor and The Amazing Race but bored of those after 3 or 4 seasons. American Idol is pretty much the only one I still watch.

American Pickers is pretty good. Ax Men, Deadliest Catch.

Two reality type shows that I liked a lot which are off the air now, Cities of the Underworld and Off-Limits both hosted by Don Wildman.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Off_Limits_(2011_TV_series)

He still does Mysterious at the Museum but I don't watch that one.

Looks like Darrell and Dan & Laura will not be back on Storage Wars leaving only Barry and Jarrod & Brandi as orginal cast members. It's dying.......

We've watched Amazing Race since the beginning. It took a big step up once HD cameras became light enough to run around with.

Well since you watch every movie its no surprise that you keep watching this dreadful waste of time. I guess if your life revolves around watching TV and movies then you are in heaven.

I used to watch a lot of those shows like american pickers, pawn stars, storage wars, gold rush etc but the acting and scripting got so bad that i just cant watch it anymore.

I liked pawn stars but when the guys are using the exact words when talking to these people who just walked up that the experts who haven't even been called yet say it makes you scratch your head. or in the first season or so when the brother of rick from American restoration came in and sold a coke machine to the pawn store guys who turned and called rick in to restore it for them and he acted like it was the first time he had ever seen it before.

I can deal with a little scripted reality but they are REALLY dumbing it down, especially with all the drama and fighting that they have to shove into every show.

Gold rush they just fill with so much fluff that they could cut the fluff out and have the whole season be a 1 hour show. coming up next! commercial break then recap of what you just saw, then more recaps of other crap that happened earlier in the season. then 2 minutes of drama building up to... coming up next! rinse and repeat.

Yes i watch too much TV! but i can't watch most of that crap anymore.
