Nice misquote DavidSeven

Sorry, man. Posting from my phone, and I didn't delete the extra quote tag. I was responding to the Hawkblogger quote anyway. BUT I'LL FIX IT FOR YA.

This had me confused for awhile but it's great insurance against injury to Marshawn. Nothing bad about having 3 stellar RB's on a run first team.

Sixth round pick and already a stellar RB? Lend me some of that positivity!

Just grinding your gears. Hope it works out!

I think Turbin is the odd man out. For all his gunz he runs too top-heavy to really beast anyone, and I find myself not caring if Turbin can catch out of the backfield since we have Harvin and Miller to be alternaties. Ware...Marshawn lite indeed. Loved the leg drive I saw out of him in those highlights and some of those smackdowns of safeties coming up trying to tackle him had me chuckling a bit.

Lots of horses back there, goodness. Perhaps the idea is you don't have to have a crazy OL with a QB that has all of RW's escapability and with RBs who can drag the pile 10 yards.

No offense taken given I do like to keep positive about any players we pick to be Seahawks.

I think we may be saying goodbye to The Real Rob Report. My guess is Ware is the FB and Lynch, Michael, Turbin at RB

That's a lot of confidence in a sixth rounder to beat out a starter.

Most FBs aren't taken too early anyway. Heck the best rated FB going into the draft was taken in the 4th

You guys are crazy if you think the Seahawks will just carry 4 RBs. We did it last season because there wasn't anyone worth while to be carried as the 5th.

Seahawks can easily carry:

Lynch/Turbin/Michael

Robinson/Ware

Do I think Lynch/Robinson both could be gone after this season? Yes

Do I believe the Seahawks were NOT a big fan of their Goal-Line/Short Yardage Defense? I do, Michael spent last season being a Goal Line specialist and Ware is a monster in short-yardage situations.

People read into so much stuff, I think, the Seahawks want to win a Superbowl... you do that by great depth insurance and make sure you iron out your wrinkles which our Goal-Line and Short Yardage situations with our RBs in 2012 left a lot to be desired.

Why do we even question theses guys anymore? Obviously they know what they're doing. Let them do their thing and let's just sit back and witness greatness!

GO HAWKS!!!!!

This pick baffles me a bit, but if they intend to convert him into a FB down the road than I can understand it. But it would be very hard to keep 5 RBs on the roster this upcoming year.

Yep. Most teams have at least five RBs/FBs on the depth chart, and none of them run as much as Seattle.

Carroll says Ware will be primarily used as a FB. MRob getting cut with that cap number is not out of this world, no matter what anybody says.

Looks like a FB. He can compete and push Robinson (who has a high cap number) at least. Would have preferred to see other positions addressed, but I understand drafting a full back.

Pete Carroll on Spencer Ware: "We're going to groom him as a FB that can also play tailback"

This is what I was thinking and I'm glad PC confirmed it. He could develop into a good fullback like M-Rob, who was also drafted as a RB and then moved to FB. With that in mind I like the pick.

You know have 3 young prospects for the running game- Turbin and Michael at RB and Ware at FB.

Ware is going to be a Practice Squad player at first, bank it.

Dude looks more beast mode then our original beast mode. I'd be a bit scared putting him on the practice squad especially considering how many RB's go down throughout the season. Maybe if he's not quite ready for the roster he can come up with some mystery injury to get himself on injured reserve.

But i'm not giving up on him being on the active roster. The dude looks fierce on the field.
