Stake out your mock. Update it as you see fit.

Rules. All mocks must be complete at noon the day before the draft. Please submit your mock, not a Dallas sportswriter's mock. If you do submit some verbatim mock in just such a way and win, have the class not to act like it was you and you alone until you get called on it. Plagerism is no big deal in mock drafts as long as you own it.

32 picks, 64 points. get the team in the right spot, get the player in the right spot, one point each. Predict all the trades you want to.

Bonus points. list 20 players you think the Hawks might choose in all 7 rounds and as UDFA's. Anyone you get right is worth a bonus point. It could take a few days to announce the winner, so don't get you panties in a bunch. As soon as a realize I didn't win, I will lose all interest and somebody else will have to figure scores out anyway.

The prize? Bragging rights. and a pretty much worthless Steve Largent football card. Update: Diags is donating a pair of tickets to the winner. The schwag pot is a growing.

Have at it.

I'll donate a pair of my season tickets (Sec 315 row W seats 1 and 2) to a game of my choice. Just to make it worthwhile. I don't do mocks but wanted to help out in the spirit of friendly competition.

Okay, it probably will be the Rams game, but who knows it could be competitive?

Sounds like fun. I didn't do all that great last year despite calling several picks as they happened during the draft.

Rams game will be a big game this year, this isn't the NFC Worst anymore.

Ridiculously over the top gestures on both parts by Scottemojo and drdiags! The Largent card in any condition holds great value to many! The game tickets may be a standard Sunday to some but a once in a lifetime deal for others. However I will be breaking hearts with the win.

The start of this mock is a pure steal from Ben Standig who won a contest beating out Kiper Jr. last year (Mr. Hair had 9 out of 32 right, so that was tough to beat) I don't agree with everything as it sits, but this guy knows more about the draft then me. This will be updated as research is done and news about needs are filled. Thank you!

Great idea Scotte, and thanks Doc for kicking in tickets!

1. KC: Luke Joeckel, OT
As unflashy as this is, it makes the most sense right now.

2. JAX: Dion Jordan, DE
Gus Bradley takes a monster pass rushing talent for the new defense he's building in Jacksonville.

3. OAK: Geno Smith, QB

4. PHI: Eric Fisher, OT

5. DET: Dee Milliner, CB
The best corner in the draft comes off the board at five to try and fix horrendous secondary problems with the Lions.

6. BUF: Matt Barkley, QB - Trade with Cleveland
No Fitzpatrick, no problem. Buffalo finally picks a winner and the best QB in this class and sticks it
to the Cardinals in the process. Suck it Arizona.

7. ARI: Shariff Floyd, DT

8. CLE: Ezekiel Ansah, DE

9. NYJ: Jonathan Cooper, G
Someone else for Dirty Sanchez to butt fumble off of during the pre-season before he loses his starting QB job.

10. TEN: Tyler Eifert, TE

11. SD: Barkevious Mingo, DE

12. MIA: Cordarelle Patterson, WR

13. NYJ: Xavier Rhodes, CB
After Trading Revis, the Jets need another corner and they go for another top notch talent in the secondary with the Bucs pick.

14. CAR: Star Lotulelei, DT

15. DAL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS
Monte Kiffin loves Seattles Defense and convinces Jerreh to trade up for the best safety on the board in an effort to try and emulate what we're doing. The highest form of flattery indeed.

16. STL: Tavon Austin, WR
The Rams have huge holes at WR and they pick the exact type of receiver that gives our big physical corners fits.

17. PIT: Alec Ogletree, LB
James Harrison? Who's James Harrison?

18. NO: Jarvis Jones, DE

19. NYG: Bjoern Werner, DE

20. CHI: Manti Te'o, LB
First Round bust right here. Te'o is no Urlacher.

21. CIN: Desmond Trufant, CB

22. STL: Robert Woods, WR
The Rams double dip the receiver chip and take Rob's most underrated player in the draft.

23. MIN: Keenan Allen, WR

24. IND: Damontre Moore, DE

25. MIN: Eddie Lacy, RB - Traded from Seattle for Percy Harvin goodness

26. GB: DeAndre Hopkins, WR

27. HOU: Landry Jones, QB
Matt Shaub isn't getting any younger and honestly, he's never been a great player. A good player yes, but not great. Landry Jones, this years Asterisk for the Lewin Career Forcast will get a year or two to marinate.

28. DEN: Jonathan Hankins, DT

29. NE: Eric Reid, FS

30. ATL: Datone Jones, DE

31. SF: Johnathan Banks, CB
Bust-A-Roonie

How about a separate Seahawks mock draft contest/thread? I can't say I'm familiar enough with the other 31 teams' rosters and needs.. points for right player and right round.

To all those who have entered or are going to enter, make sure you read the rules as laid out by scotteemojo. Most of you are forgetting to add your 20 players who the Seahawks might select. Those could be some valuable and needed bonus points.

Sounds cool! I have very little knowledge about the draft, so I'm not going to even try. But I look forward to seeing how close you guys come.
