You get to carve 4 faces in the side of Mt. Ranier to best represent the Seattle Seahawks. Who do you choose? Not 3, not 5, only 4!!

Mine:

Paul Allen
Steve Largent
Cortez Kennedy
Walter Jones

Others in contention:

I wanted to put the original owner on there, and I know it was originally owned by the Nordstrum family, but not sure of any individuals. Interesting fact that I did not know, Lloyd Nordstrum is the guy that signed the franchise agreement with Pete Rozelle guaranteeing a franchise in Seattle. He then died of a heart attack before the Seahawks played their first game. Kinda sad.

I also considered Kenny Easley, Mack Strong, Hasselbeck, Alexander and a 12th man but they did not make the cut.

If you asked me ten years from now I have a feeling i'd probably put Russell Wilson on there in place of Walter Jones.

I can't argue with it, but I'd add a fifth head...Russell Wilson.

Yes, at the end of the day he will mean that much to us.

Nope! Not allowed! If you add Russell you have to take off one of the other guys.

I'd take off Paul Allen, since he didn't play.

You only get to choose 3, since Russell's already been added. :D

Right now.

Allen - without him we wouldn't be talking about it.
Largent - HOF
Jones - HOF
Tez - HOF

Ask again in another 5 years and my answer might be drastically different. We may need another mountain.

We do have Mt. Adams, Baker and part of St. Helens left. From my vantage point, Mt. Stewart would work too.

Mt. Stuart would be best. It's the largest mountain of exposed granite in the United States.
Non-volcanic mountains are not common in the cascades. Bonanza Peak, nearby, is a
higher granite peak but does not have the mass, or the beauty of Mt. Stuart.

I know about this because many years ago a friend, Bernie Homes, fell and was killed
on Stuart.

I wouldn't modify your list at all but it may need revision in a few more years.

Russell Wilson's going to be the 5th face on the actual Mount Rushmore 50 years from now, might as well make him the 5th on the Seahawks one too. It's only fitting.

Whoever did that Photoshopped Wilson Mt. Rushmore needs to get on one with the four greatest Seahawks faces. And while it's easy enough to put Wilson or some of the current guys there, they have a long, long way to go before I'd put them up there in place of our Hall of Fame players. Remember Tatupu anyone? My two cents echo tomahawk:

Paul Allen
Steve Largent
Walter Jones
Cortez Kennedy

And Todd, the only way that Mt. Suckmore could be any worse is if you switched one of them out with K... K... Ken Behring. Damn, it was hard to even write that name down.

If I recall my history correctly, the original plan for Mt Rushmore included more faces but it ended at four because of lack of funding. Since we have Paul Allen at our helm we can disregard the lack of funding issue. I believe 12 faces would be appropriate.

Tez, Jones, Largent and a big giant crack running right down the middle with a massive Marshawn Lynch full-body statue on top causing an earthquake
