Is their a reason why videos on NFL.com or team websites don't play on my firefox browser? I have ad blocker plus. Is that the problem? Anything I can do about it?

Yes, it's an ad blocking extension. It should have an allow list you can put seahawks.com and nfl.com on.

A better question is....Why do you use Firefox when there is Chrome?

Why use Chrome when there is Safari, right Roland?

That would also be acceptable.

That's not nice. Sac's the one that trolled me.

Also, Mr. Writer, how about you go properly hyphenate "bad-ass" on your forum title?

Yeah, that's right. Put 'em up, chief! :beating:

Roland, coming from a poster missing a space in his user name, this response is not surprising. May I refer you to the Urban Dictionary, regarding this issue? Also, this is a topic discussing Fire-Fox, so let's not get all off-topic.

Many forums do not allow spaces in usernames. By default, when I register somewhere, I don't include the space so it's consistent and I don't have to remember if site X has a space in it, or not.

You, on the other hand, have no defense for your lack of hyphenation. :D

How many do you want?

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=badass
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/badass?s=t
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/badass
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/badass
http://oxforddictionaries.com/definitio ... s?q=badass
http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictio ... ish/badass
http://www.macmillandictionary.com/dict ... can/badass
http://www.onelook.com/?w=badass&ls=a

In fact, the only place I looked that did not contain a definition for "badass" was the Cambridge Dictionaries Online: http://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/spel ... /?q=badass

You must be referencing Her Majesty's tome, which I'm sure is more colourful and authentic than our barmy Yank versions. I only bodged a search for it, so it's possible I came up with quite jammy results. Pip pip, and a jolly good day to you, sir!

I know it's in the dictionary. I think you misunderstood what I meant. It's annoying that, increasingly, words get "legitimized" through popular use without grammatical correctness.

Perhaps I should start using phrases like "awesomeguy" and "coolbro", maybe they'll get popular enough to make it into the dictionary and be "legitimate", too.

The dictionaries should use it with a hyphen, or a space.

For new words to become popularized and imitated they have to be perpetuated by people who are generally well liked by a wide audience. I'm not sure you qualify.

Zing. Harsh toke, bro. However, what you said isn't a requisite. Widespread use is all it takes.

Many of those that claim to be "badasses" in real life, actually are. True story. :)

I make no claim, Roland. I was dubbed with this moniker by powers on this board higher than me. I just try my damnedest to live up to it.

I donated the space in my user name to The find Rock a Twatwaffle foundation.
