  • Ok, so like, I'm running Win 7, just got some updates, everything else is working (including You Tube), but I can no longer see videos on Seahawks.com or on NFL.com.

Updated my Flash to the latest. Got the latest Java (etc.), and I've gone through everything on both of the support pages. All my settings are good and from what I can tell, my Norton is not blocking anything. I'm tired of messing with this. Argh!!!

    Anybody got the fix?

Thank you, in advance, for your kind assistance.

  • Is there a black box where the video should be, but it's just not loading?
Feel free to contact me if you need legal assistance. I have a great lawyer that helped me with an ex who violated my privacy and kept harassing me on MySpace and Facebook. He's very good. And there is legal precedent. - linuxpro

No, been trying to avoid that. There has got to be a setting that was changed during the last Windows update. My Norton does threat updates all the time, but no software or wholesale changes. I've checked the Windows website support, but nothing specific to my problem.

  • IE screws up all the time. That's why a lot use either Firefox or Chrome. Not to mention, they're faster browsers.

  • Do you have Silverlight installed? They may have switched the type of video.

In all honesty, switch to Chrome or Firefox.

  • It's a microsoft framework.

    http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/

It should install via "Windows update", but you can download it manually from that site.

It sounds like it might be your problem.

  • I pretty sure NFL.com uses Flash. Seahawks.com may use Silverlight.

  • It's a Microsoft framework that Microsoft hates. You should hate it too!
