To be fair all of those are much bigger impact players than an Avril or a Bennett

Yeah, really? Washed up Steven Jackson is not better than Avril or Bennett.

Washed up? His numbers are still there, and he can do it all. Avril is seen as 1 dimensional and is still questioned whether hes even a good player or if hes just a product of playing next to Suh. Bennetts sample size as a productive player are still very small

Yeah like everyone said, no disrespect here.

Avril was projected to be the most desired defensive FA but look at how everything turned out... Kruger isn't even listed here and he signed for 4x more than Avril. Where did you even find this picture?

4 yards per carry, 4 TDs & 15th overall in rushing? I'd say he's an average NFL RB and only getting older. Conversely, that "one dimension" you speak of with Avril, is the single greatest dimension that every single NFL coaching is looking for.. a pass rusher in a passing league.

Regardless of who opines what about player's upcoming season, everyone knows who Steven Jackson is. That alone gets him included in this sort article above players like Avril and Bennett.

In the two games Suh was out in 2011 for his infamous Thanksgiving stomp, Avril had 2.0 sacks in 2 games. Avril's sacks have nothing to do with Suh, he's a speed off the edge guy- not a inside/out technician.

Meh. Our FA signings aren't eye-popping by any means. They now have another Bruce Irvin and a tweener DT/DE. If Clemons doesn't recover, the D might have less sacks than last year, and the run D will definitely take a hit. Hopefully we'll get our big thumper in the draft who can immediately contribute. Even with Sneider's history of success, I will be duly impressed if he pulls it off.

The reason our FA signings ARE eye popping is because we got B to B+ talent at ridiculously team friendly contracts. Passionate fans know who Avril and Michael are but the vast majority of NFL fans don't.

ESPN has the Seahawks rated as #1 in the league in their power rankings. How much more respect to Seahawks fans need than that?

lol you guys are so funny, it says FREE AGENT, Percy was not a free agent, Avril and Bennet are not the same kind of superstars as those free agents that are displayed, but whatever we need to do to feel disrespected I suppose xD.
Nobody in this thread mentioned Harvin except you.
Nobody.

Then why is OP getting in a tizzy over two pretty low-priced signings?

Well, his name is Jester. So there's that.

So... What are you trying to say... exactly...?
