It says they are only allowed to contact him, and that the Jets will want their first round pick, so the question is do the Buc's pull the trigger and nab Revis? I'm not sure that Tampa Bay is that desperate to sink a ton of money and draft picks into someone who hasn't proved the have rehabbed successfully yet, but this has been a crazy offseason.

They play Atlanta and New Orleans 4 times every year. They coul use a healthy Revis, that is for certain.

It would be a great upgrade for them, but not sure that the Jets are willing to part with anything less than a first, which I feel is a bit high with his rehab not proven yet. A second is fine IMO due to his past success.

Would you give a 1st, 2nd and a later round draft pick for Revis?

Idzik should take this regardless of draft year the 1st and 2nd are in.

Wow, I'm surprised that Idzik hasn't pulled the trigger on that deal. He doesn't want Revis, and by waiting too long this could blow up in his face. Not a good way to start as a GM, unless it all works out that is

Tampa Bay is insane if they give up the 13th pick for the privilege of paying Revis $15 million a year.

It's for next year

In all fairness, it will probably be close to 13th next year as well.

Id do it... how often is there a derrell revis at 13 in the draft...

Well, there was in 2007. He was drafted 14. :)-

In seriousness, I'd do the trade if I was New York. It's probably time to start over there.

You make next year tied to status. If later than 20th pick throw in a fifth rounder. Bucs probably goes for it done deal.

Issue is jets needs to reload now cheaply so they need the draft picks...

I for one think CBs are over rated and paid. They shouldn't be paid in the same hemisphere as franchise QBs.
