Thanks CP. I will probably make mention of this on the blog. This is newsworthy IMO, especially if Clay posts a good forty time. You know how Pete is with the Pac-12 connection. There aren't a ton of great options in the late rounds and Pete has gambled on undersized Pac-12 LBs before.
Clay wasn't invitied to the combine. Oregon's pro-day is today is it not? I wonder what his time will be.

Proday is going right now, still no word on his 40. Saw Kiko Alonzo ran the 40 (since he didn't run at combine) and ran a 4.68 and a 4.75. Also guard Ryan Clanton 6'5 305, ran a 5.02 and did 42 reps at 225.

Sounding like Clay ran a 4.72 40. Also interesting enough, Andy Reid had him long snapping.

Michael Clay would be an awesome addition to the team. Great instincts. Great player. Could be awesome on special teams also.

Disappointing time for Clay for a pro-day, but I think his being over 230 will probably get him drafted. Don't think it will be by us, but he'll probably get a shot at the NFL now.

That 40 time really is disappointing. Too bad.

Speaking of 40 times, Barner improved his running a 4.39 and a 4.46.
