Red is where he's at because he was a mediocre DT. We don't need to move him back inside to see if he would be better there.

NICE! I didn't think this was going to happen after Avril signing. The pass rush just got 2x times better. Clemons, Irvin, Avril, and Bennett are going to rock the house!

OK, so it's Avril at OLB (+depth for DE), which Pete said he could play, Bennett at DT and the rest of the starters resuming their roles from last year?

Have we addressed every need on the front seven (additional depth aside)?

Forgive my ignorance - I'm still learning this stuff. Bennett is a DE but I've seen some (like seahawksdraftblog quote below) suggest that he is replacement for Jones in the 3-tech. I though 3-tech was more of a DT than a DE. Am I getting too hung up on titles? Is a 3-tech pass rusher still a huge need for us or can Bennett fill it? Would we conceivably have Irvin, Red, Bennett, and Avril all in at the same time?

He's played both in the NFL. Seahawks used him the first go-around as a DT. I swear I read somewhere that he moved to DE in 2012.
