Grossly overpaid for him. He was on the record saying he was looking for 3-4m per for 4-5 years.

He's getting paid less per year than Avril is. I think Philly just got a pretty good deal, actually. That said, Avril fits our team better.

Yea, only $8 million in guaranteed money in the deal, actually. I initially saw the 6/36 and assumed the guaranteed money had to be around $15 million or so. Not a bad deal for Philly at all. If he produces like 2011, $6 million/year is a bargain and, if not, they can cut bait and move on without much of a hit.
