On the contrary, NFL Network is reporting that Wes Welker may take his talents to Peyton Manning to play for the Peyton Mannings.

As Polian pointed out on NFL Live, he would have much better outside receivers in Denver (Thomas and Decker) than he had in NE meaning more room to operate. Brady's gonna have no weapons outside of the 2 TEs. IMO, this still won't get the Donkeys over the top either cuz Peyton will find a way to suck in the playoffs, especially if they get HFA and it's like 2 above zero in Denver in January.

I feel like Amendola is going to sign within the next day. Him and Brady should be pretty scary together as long as he can stay healthy. That's pretty funny how they wouldn't match the 6 million over 2 year deal for their all star slot receiver.
He also has family in the Boston area so the move would make sense.

The Patriots have a longstanding solid history of not retaining players right at the point where their peak playing ability ends. Just sayin'. Wes Welker will be 32 in May.
