  • Abraham likely to be next or maybe Osi regardless the Hawks just got that much more attractive to a FA.

  • Agreed. We not only need a pass rusher but we need a run stopper too.

  • Yes, we need DL help...but we also just gave them a 7 point per game cushion.

  • if we were going to sign Abraham I think we would have done it already. He was released and could sign at any time like Cullen Jenkins. Though maybe they couldn't agree on money so they are going to wait and see how the market shapes up?

Agreed. Add in a veteran defensive end and we are looking like WLB in the second round of the draft.

Maybe he didn't want to sign yet...he doesn't have to accept an offer just cause we might have made one. Maybe he wants to explore all his options, do some due diligence before signing anywhere. Can't assume that he's still not on the hawks radar or even that we're not on the top of his wish list...we'll find out eventually.

  • i'd say the first signing should be one of the best 3 tech's available(Richard Seymour or dez bryant) then sign abraham who should be the cheapest an possibly the most hungry for a ring being in his final years with no trip to the superbowl in his career.

would also like to have Jason Jones, would have to be cheap but maybe he wants to win too.
