I couldn't sleep last night and came across Duck Dynasty. I had avoided it for awhile thinking it would just be another reality show that would be no good. I sure was wrong. I was thoroughly entertained.

Bamazon is the only "redneck" show I think I have seen a few episodes of. I like to pan for gold recreationally, so the show was somewhat appealing though I confess I have missed half the season probably.

Generally though, I loath rednecks, so I find it hard to justify spending any time on them, and 99% of reality shows overall really. I usually try to avoid reality shows like the plague.

Interesting fact about the father (Phil) on Duck Dynasty....he started ahead of Terry Bradshaw in college.

Yeah, Si steals the show IMO. "my humps, my humps" LOL.

For those that don't like it, that's fine but I think the appeal is the wholesomeness of the family. There is no cursing, etc...It sure beats other reality shows out there by a mile. I still don't understand the 10pm airing time. This show is almost rated G. You could watch it with young children and everyone would laugh their a.ss off.

Yeah but what a 3rd grader as the crew at Temple Billiard's can attest.
