Wow.

I just looked him up, he seems like a tall, long armed, thin type build? Those dudes have the worst time with the bench press vs stocky short armed builds.

Or maybe he just hates the weight room! :)

Wasn't there a stud wide receiver a couple years back that could not do but a couple reps? I don't remember his name, but I remember hearing him taking a lot of flak for it and now he's in the league tearing it up.

Jefferson injured himself while performing bench press at the combine. That's the reason why he was able to get only 3 reps.

And, I think that it's different for tightends because they are usually expected to block a lot.
