Sure, why not? I mean, as long as it was in the guy's will or something like that.

Still, the question remains: why is horse meat not just shunned, or disdained in America, but rather ILLEGAL? What about horse meat is so terrible, so vile that it could be deemed forbidden under penalty of law?

I wouldn't mind eating horse, especially if it's a horse I've lost money on at the track. We pretty much eat any animal here, kangaroo, emu, crocodile...

Because of how horses have been portrayed in the movies. Westerns with outlaws & their best friend, their horse; stuff like My Friend Flicka, etc. Before you laugh and think I'm kidding, think it through. Horses have been sentimentalized into the household pets category that cats and dogs are in, in the American culture.

I'm as hungry as a horse, for a horse.

Any horse I've ever eaten was disguised as beef, but I'm sure it was in there. And it was gooooood.

I feel the exact same way about Dolphins, Sailor. I keep imagining Dolphin is delicious, but I can't buy it anywhere.

I would pay good money for a can of Tuna safe Dolphin.

Dolphins seem like they'd be blubbery. Maybe not so good for eating but probably great for making lamp oil.

American beef is banned in Europe due to the hormones we add. I'd probably eat horse over American beef.

China banned time travel, and Seattle and San Francisco have banned plastic bags at grocery stores. Just because something is banned doesn't mean shit.

But you could render the fat and make some great frickin' fries with it. Dolphin steak with dolphin-fat fries on the side? Sign me up.

Sometimes. Sometimes it means a lot. Like in this case, probably.

Are you trying to argue there isn't a reason for banning plastic bags?

I could easily argue there is no reason that doesn't involve a considerable amount of stupidity for banning plastic bags, sure.

@Zeb: You can't just say hormones are bad. Guess what? Every person on the planet is filled with hormones. I guess they're all bad, too.
