OLB Jamie Collins Southern Miss

I can't figure out how old this guy is but he seems very underrated and without watching any film and just reading about him, I'd guess he is a 2nd round talent who will go in the 4th unless he can break into the 4.5 40 range but he is likely a low mid 4.6 to low 4.7 guy. Moved from defensive back to linebacker in 2010 and from linebacker to hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker position in 2011. Played quarterback and linebacker in high school.

"Collins made the All-Conference USA team this season as a defensive lineman. He played a hybrid end/linebacker position at Southern Miss the past two seasons, but he started his collegiate career as a defensive back. At the Senior Bowl, he's one of the six linebackers for the South squad. Along with his 314 tackles, 45.5 tackles for loss and 21 sacks, Collins has three career interceptions."

Collins has 3 compilations on youtube. Having watched a couple, I'll pass. Doesn't pass the "football player" test for me. Seems to always be jogging in pursuit- even when the ball carrier is right there to be tackled. He has skinny, weak arms. Gets destroyed against the run. No instincts, no motor. No tools. Small school. Yuck.

Malliciah Goodman looks like a guy to keep an eye on. Long arms, solid athlete, but pretty clueless- he has a ton of untapped potential. Not saying I'd love the pick, but I could easily see Seattle going for a DE like that in the mid rounds, a guy with tools over polish.
